Villa 1880  is a modern 5-bedroom Seminyak villa holiday rental that is perfectly geared for groups of friends travelling together or families on holiday with children. The villa is located only 450 metres from Batu Belig Beach and only  1 km to the  Finns Club; it’s the ideal Bali holiday villa for those who want to stay in a central location  – the perfect beach-style holiday!

Outdoor & Pool Areas

The main feature of Villa 1880s outdoors is the amazing 20-metre swimming lap pool, which also features a sheltered pool for the kids. There are lots of chic sun lounges lined up by the pool on the timber deck for some sunbaking, while the sun terrace on the roof is great for sunset time and even BBQ dinners.

Living Areas

The villa has it all when it comes to living spaces; with a selection of open-air and enclosed spaces, there’s a place for everyone to relax. The professional kitchen with your private chefs and butlers is capable of cooking up delights of all flavours. If you need a little pampering, head to the private spa for an in-house traditional massage or retire to the study to read a book or send a few emails. On the first floor, guests can relax in the comfort of the spacious air-conditioned TV lounge, featuring a huge red sofa, a classic radio and a huge plasma TV for family movie evenings.

The master suite has a mix of old and new design elements with colonial-style folding panels; in its centre, a king-size bed draped in sheer netting with an adjacent walk-in robe area, plasma TV/DVD and the en-suite features a terrazzo soaking tub. Two guest rooms also feature king-size with private en-suites, of which one adjoins the children’s room with bunk beds, a host of toys and games, a TV and a custom kids-size washbasin in the en-suite.

The villa manager will welcome you upon arrival and explain everything you need to know about the villa and surrounding areas. You will be well taken care of by the chefs, butlers, housemaids and security staff.

Around Villa 1880, Seminyak (close to Batu Belig Beach and Cafe Del Mar)

Villa 1880 is located just off Jalan Batu Belig, which has lots of great restaurants and cafes, Sardine, Watercress, Slippery Stone and Metis, to name a few. The 707 Beach Bar, Mari Beach Club & Cafe Del Mar at Batu Belig Beach is great for watching sunsets, as is the new mega Atlas Beach Fest in Berawa.

Cafes. If you love your coffee, there are some fabulous cafes nearby where you can also grab a bite to eat with the family. Make sure you go to Folie, Monsieur Spoon, Nourish and Livingstones for the best pastries & croissants. For dinner, there are some great restaurants in Seminyak & Berawa (5 min away by taxi) worth trying. Make sure you visit Sea Circus, Kynd Community, Ingka, Pison, Greek Taverna and the popular Motel Mexicola. In Berawa, there’s Milk and Madu or Milu by Nook.

Travelling with kids? The Finns Recreation Club, with water slides, ten-pin bowling and a huge in-door trampoline centre called Bounce, is about 5 minutes away (so handy!). You might also like to take them for a surf lesson at Double Six Beach, where you can hire boards and an instructor by the hour. Culturally, taking them to Tanah Lot Temple for sunset photos or a day at Ubud’s famous Monkey Forest Temple is loads of family fun. For dinner, take them to Mades Warung, where they can have an authentic Indonesian meal. Even better, why not head into the Seminyak Village area and take them to Grill’d, Sisterfields or BossMan for burgers?

Day Spas. For the ladies who feel like getting their hair and nails done and a dreamy Balinese massage, there are some upmarket day spas really close by. For the best treatments, head to Rob Peetoom in Petitenget, Think Pink Nails & Spring day spa in the Oberoi area.

Shopping. You can then spend the afternoon shopping in Seminyak, where you’ll find art galleries, homewares and jewellery stores and bargain for Bali souvenirs with local vendors. For more shopping options, make your way into the Kartika Plaza area in Kuta, where you’ll find the Discovery & Lippo Shopping Mall.

For a treat, make sure you go to Potato Head or Ku De Ta Beach Clubs to watch the best sunset in Bali over a few cocktails or cold Bintang. You can rent your own private day beds with your friends and enjoy the chilled music, amazing food & breathtaking beach views.
