Villa Adagian boasts antique Javanese houses crafted out of teak wood and they’re situated in a beautiful tropical garden with a 12-metre private pool.

Open-plan living

The open-plan living room features lovely views of the garden and pool. The interior design is tropical chic with handcrafted bamboo lamps, hanging chairs and tribal artifacts. There is a lounge corner with a satellite TV and a free-form dining table with 6 bamboo chairs. The open kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need.

A private pool

The garden is peaceful and absolutely stunning with tropical greenery and a turquoise swimming pool. Kids can safely play in the shallow area of the pool while mom and dad keep an eye, lounging on the poolside sunbeds.

3 bedrooms with air-con

2 of the bedrooms are located inside the main house and the 3rd bedroom is tucked privately in a stand-alone Javanese Gladak House. All 3 rooms are equipped with AC and each is fitted with a double bed draped in mosquito nets. The en-suite bathrooms have hot water showers and one of them even boasts a large outdoor river rock bathtub.

Staff & services

Location in Umalas ( near famous Nook restaurant & Batu Belig beach!! )

The location is superb as it is quiet and peaceful yet strategic and central. You just need to drive a couple of minutes and you’ll hit Jalan Batu Belig which is the street that connects Berawa in  Canggu to Petitenget in Seminyak. You are close to everything: beaches, beach clubs, restaurants, cafes, shops, spas – you name it.

If you love your coffee your in luck as there are some great cafes in Umalas where you can also grab a bite to eat with the family. Make sure you go to the popular Nook, Bucu, Bumbak Coffee and in Petitenget there’s Pison, Livingstones & Monsieur Spoon.

Travelling with kids? Take them to the Finns Recreation Club in Berawa where there are water slides, ten pin bowling & a huge indoor trampoline centre called Bounce. They might even like a surf lesson at Old Man’s beach where you can hire boards & an instructor as well. Follow this up with a traditional Indonesian dinner at Made’s Warung in Berawa, the best ribs at Wild Hog in Batu Belig or perhaps burgers at Milk & Madu ( there’s a  childrens play area here ) or BB52.

For the ladies, there are some upmarket day spas nearby where you can get your hair and nails done & have one of those dreamy Balinese massages. For the best treatments head to Rob Peetoom, Spring Day Spa, Body Works or Think Pink Nails. Afterwards spend the day browsing the art galleries, jewellery and homewares stores in the chic Oberoi. For more shopping options head into Legian where you can bargain with locals for souvenirs or Kuta’s Kartika Plaza area where there are large shopping centres like Lippo & Discovery Shopping Mall.
