Villa Alocasia is a 4 bedroom Canggu holiday villa rental & is located in the exclusive Ayanna Villa Estate situated amid the lush rice fields of Canggu. Villa  Alocasia can comfortably sleep up to 8 guests. The popular Echo Beach is 2.3 km with means this is a great holiday villa if you want to be in a chilled out location yet close to the beach. Outdoor & Pool Areas

Upon entering the villas private gate, guests are greeted by waterways and the calming sound from its Balinese water features, immediately guests will be swept away, a sense of the relaxation that will become second nature, during their stay. An ironwood timber deck, directly in front of the living area has four sun recliners, ready for those wanting to work on their holiday tan and a raised Bale/Gazebo, designed to enjoy some shade, as you watch the kids in the pool or maybe curl up with a good book or even an in-house massage. A secondary and much larger pool is flanked by a huge manicured lawn and BBQ facilities, a great spot if you invite some friends over.

Living Areas

The villa is architecturally designed with natural light gleaming through the retractable glass panels leading out to the pool deck; enjoy al-fresco free-living or air-conditioned comfort. The main lounge come media area is furnished with plush sofas and state-of-the-art entertainment facilities. The villa offers guests the use of two kitchens, specifically designed by a Master German Chef, one designed for commercial cookery and the other part of the main living area where guests can dine at the timber dining table with seating for 8.

Upstairs a private gym will help you keep your waistline in check, equipped with cardio machines and a wall-mounted flat-screen TV.

There are four equally elegant bedroom suites located on the villas top floor, rich timber floorboards line the hallways and bedrooms, the additional artworks adding a splash of colour to each room. Crisp white linens grace the comfy beds with the Master suite featuring an oversized soaking tub as well as a rain shower. The remaining guest suites are almost a replica of the Master suite with a mix of King and Queen sized beds, walk-in rain showers, plenty of wardrobe space and flat-screen TV’s.

The villas complex is situated within a green belt, thus the immediate areas are a lush green landscape of verdant rice terraces; just what postcards are made of. Within walking distance of the villa, guests can take a leisurely stroll for a yoga session at Samadi with an organic in-house restaurant for all the yogi’s out there. Don’t miss the Bali Buddha bakery & health food shop for a great feed.  Walking around the immediate area you may also have the chance to catch a glimpse of a traditional Hindu ceremony, the jingle of the priests copper bell, your sign that a ceremony is in progress.

The villa is just a 5 min ride to the crashing waves of Echo and Batu Bolong beaches. Enjoy a sundowner at The Lawn beachfront beach restaurant or the famous Old Man’s. The Finns Recreation Centre is geared for the whole family, tennis, gymnasium, ten-pin bowling, swimming, a water fun park and indoor trampoline facility will have the kids smiling.

Travelling with kids? Take them to the Finns Recreation Club where there are waterslides, ten pin bowling and a massive indoor trampoline centre called Bounce. They’ll also like a surf lesson at Old Man’s Beach where you can hire surfboards and instructors by the hour. For a fun day out with the family head to the famous Monkey Forest Temple in Ubud or sunset photos at Tanah Lot Temple.

If you want to take the family or friends out for a meal then there are lots of options along Jalan Batu Bolong and Batu Mejan which is close by. Make sure you go to Monsieur Spoon (for amazing pastries, croissants & coffee), Milk and Madu, Mason, Black Sand Brewery, Ji ( great Japanese), Fishbone, Deus ex Machina, Luigi’s Pizza and the popular Shady Shack.

If you want to keep up your yoga while on holiday then The Practice & Samadi yoga are great studios nearby that have daily yoga classes for all levels. There is also an F45 gym in Canggu for those cardio workouts.

For the ladies, there are loads of upmarket day spas nearby where you can get your hair and nails done plus have one of those dreamy Balinese massages. Head to Goldust Beauty Lounge, AMO or the super popular Spring day spa. There is also the new MYNX beauty lounge on Jl Nelayan which is fabulous. Follow this up with an afternoon browsing the art galleries, homewares & jewellery stores along Jalan Batu   Bolong or   Batu Mejan. For more shopping options head into Seminyak or Legian where you can bargain with locals for souvenirs.

For a treat ask your villa manager to arrange a taxi to take you to Cafe Del Mar (in Batu Belig – 10 min away) or the new mega beach club Holywings in Berawa for cocktails by the beach, chilled music, sunset views and fine dining. Closer by, you can go to the Finns VIP Club for reserved day beds by the beach with a very relaxed vibe, food and cocktails.
