Outdoor & Pool Areas

The outdoor setting at The Baganding Villa is filled with a diverse array of tropical plants, soaring palms, manicured trees, frangipanis, lush lawns, water features, traditional statues and a fantastic pool. High walls offer complete privacy; it will be a pleasure coming home to this tropical oasis after a day out shopping and sightseeing to cool off in the crystal clear pool. The garden gazebo is cushioned for a restful nap, and recliners are ready for those wanting to achieve that golden tan. There is a timber dining table on the patio and plenty of places to sit and enjoy the alfresco environment.

Living Areas

The living areas are air-conditioned, with cooling floors decorated with Asian artifacts, ornaments, artworks and Persian floor rugs; the interior has an opulent aesthetic. There is a large sofa and teak dining table for family and friends to enjoy mealtimes together. The kitchen has plenty of modern appliances, while the media room is a comfortable spot to retire to after a day in the sun. Upstairs, there is an exceptional rooftop terrace where you can get a glimpse of the ocean and great sunsets.

The master suite, located off the downstairs patio area, features rich timber floors and is tastefully decorated with Asian antiques. You’ll have a great sleep in the king-size bed and plenty of entertainment with a wall-mounted cable TV with a DVD player. There is plenty of wardrobe space, a soaking tub and a monsoon shower. On the ground floor of the main pavilion, a king and twin room are located, fully air-conditioned with flat-screen TVs. The traditional Lumbung House houses the fourth suite; it offers cozy accommodation and an en-suite bathroom.

The villa is well-serviced by a team of friendly Balinese staff, including the villa manager, chefs, butlers, housekeepers and security staff. You are sure to be well looked after throughout your stay; baby cots, in-house spa services, and day trips are all taken care of by the staff.

Around The Baganding Villa, Seminyak (near KU DE TA & Eat Street)

The villa is situated off a quiet lane that leads down to the front door of the iconic Ku de ta Beach Club. From here, you can explore both ‘Eat Street’ and the sophisticated Petitenget strip, where you will find La Lucciola, Kynd, Potato Head, Ku De Ta, Mrs Sippy, Merah Putih and Sarong, to name a few.

Cafes. If you love your coffee, there are some amazing cafes nearby where you can also grab a bite to eat. Make sure you go to Pison, Sisterfields, Monsieur Spoon, BAKED and Revolver along Jalan Kayu Aya. There is even a Starbucks nearby!

Day Spas. For the ladies, you’ll be glad to know that there are some upmarket day spas close by where you can get your hair and nails done, plus have a relaxing Balinese massage. Some of the best are GLO, Spring Day Spa, Sundari and The Blow Bar.

Shopping. Follow this up with some shopping at Seminyak Square or Jalan Basangkasa. The Oberoi, Petitenget and Seminyak areas are jam-packed with shops of all descriptions selling clothes, jewellery, homewares, artwork and souvenirs. You might even like to venture further into Legian ( all within walking distance ), which has even more local shops selling Balinese items.

Travelling with kids?  The Finns Recreation Club (with waterslides, ten-pin bowling and a massive indoor trampoline centre ) & Waterbom Bali in Kuta are nearby. Follow this up with a sunset meal at Double Six Beach or dinner at Grill’d or BossMan Burgers.

Beach Clubs. For a real treat, make sure you go to Ku De Ta or Potato Head for sunset cocktails and a meal. There are swimming pools here so that you can bring the kids for a fun day out. Even better, make the trip to Berawa (20 min away) and hang out at Atlas Beach Fest or Finns. Hire a cabana or suite for the day and live it up.
