 Villa Banyu is a 4-bedroom holiday rental in Seminyak featuring a contemporary design and smartly incorporating water elements into its layout. Outdoor and Pool Area

The 8-metre squared-shaped swimming pool takes up most of the outdoor area, bordered by timber walkways and large koi ponds with water lilies and tropical plants. To one side of the pool is a fabulous built-in lounge with cooling fans and quaint coffee tables. In the centre of one of the ponds awaits a day bed open to the skies, a perfect place for those wanting a tropical tan.

The Living Area

The main living area is semi-open with an open plan design incorporating a large lounge area with cushioned sofas and an adjacent dining area with a lovely dining table for 8 guests to enjoy the great meals the chef prepares. The well-equipped modern kitchen has every appliance you could ask for, and up a flight of stairs, you will find the purpose-built billiards room with a huge flat-screen TV to watch some sport and a fully equipped bar along with an outdoor rattan setting on the balcony overlooking the pool.

4 large bedrooms with air-con

The four bedrooms are spacious, vibrant, bright and tastefully decorated with designer timber bed bases, giving a futon-like feel. Three bedrooms are located on the ground floor, providing direct access to the pool, and the third opens onto a calming koi pond. Three rooms have semi-open-air tropical en-suite bathrooms, while the fourth bedroom is adjacent to the billiard room.

The staff at Villa Banyu is long-serving and very familiar with the villa’s operations. They take great pride in ensuring you have a memorable and pleasant stay and that everything runs smoothly. Consisting of a villa manager, butlers, housekeepers, gardeners, pool attendants and security personnel, the team is ready to serve your every need. Should you require extra services such as babysitters, masseurs, drivers and cars, the staff can easily arrange them.

Around Villa Banyu, Seminyak (central location near Eat Street & Double  Six beach)

Villa Banyu is a leisurely 5-minute stroll from the centre of Seminyak’s famous Eat Street and its endless dining options and trendy boutiques. Sisterfields or  Monsieur Spoon for breakfast, maybe La Lucciola (on Petitenget beach) for lunch and Batik or Ultimo for dinner.

Day Spas. For the ladies, you’ll love that there are loads of upmarket day spas nearby where you can get your hair and nails done, plus have one of those dreamy Balinese massages. Head to Glo Day Spa, Jari Menari,  Prana or The Shampoo Lounge.

Cafes & restaurants. If you love your coffee, you are in luck, as there are some great cafes nearby where you can also grab a bite to eat. Make sure you go to Shelter Cafe, La Plancha (on Double Six Beach), Cornerhouse, Braud (for the best pastries) and the popular Revolver on Eat Street.

Fancy Partying?  Start the night off at Red Carpet, The Goat, Nirvana Sports Bar or the Forge for pre-dinner drinks. Then it’s off to Motel Mexiocla for tacos and tequila. Continue the party at Shi Shi or La Favela, where you can dance till dawn or head to Mrs Sippy for a nightcap.

Travelling with kids?  Take them to Waterbom Bali (one of Asia’s best water theme parks) for a fun day on the massive waterslides. They might even like a surf lesson at Double Six Beach, where you can hire boards & an instructor by the hour. Follow this up with burgers at BossMan, Grill’d, Naughty Nuris or perhaps an authentic Indonesian meal at Made’s Warung. For dessert, there’s the Yoghurt Republic or delish gelato at Gusto in Kerobokan, which is close by.

Shopping. If you want to spend your time shopping,  Seminyak has many shopping options. You can buy jewellery, clothing, gifts, homewares & those must-have Bali souvenirs throughout the entire Seminyak area, especially Eat Street. Go to Seminyak Square along Jalan Kayu Aya and go from there. For more shopping options, hop into a taxi to the Kartika Plaza area in Kuta, where there are large shopping centres such as Lippo & Discovery Mall Shopping. You can also head into Legian, where you can bargain with locals for souvenirs. In the other direction, make your way to Canggu’s Batu Bolong, where there are many boutique shopping options.

Sightseeing.  From the villa, you can easily explore other parts of the island. Ensure you visit Tanah Lot Temple (for sunset photos), Ubud’s famous Monkey Forest Temple,  Uluwatu Temple, Jimbaran Bay for seafood dinner, Kuta Beach and Canggu’s popular Batu Bolong area.
