Cendrawasih is located between Batu Belig Beach and Petitenget Beach.
Cafe & restaurants. If you love your coffee, there are some fabulous cafes close by where you can also take the kids for a bite to eat. Make sure you go to Pison, Monsieur Spoon (for pastries & croissants) or Livingstones in the Petitenget area and Milk and Madu RUKO, Tamora Gallery (cafes & restaurants here) & Milu By Nook as you head towards Berawa. There are also some great restaurants where you can go for a meal with the family or group. Make sure you visit the popular Watercress, La Finca, One-Eyed Jacks (for the best Japanese food), Sarong and the famous Metis.
Shopping. If you want to shop, Villa Cendrawasih is close to Eat Street, with boutiques, homewares and jewellery stores. Start at Seminyak Village or Seminyak Square and head towards Legian, where there are many souvenir shops, and you can bargain with locals. There are also 2 supermarkets (Popular & Canggu Station) nearby where you can stock up on all your villa supplies, such as fruit, veggies, alcohol and snacks for the kids.
Travelling with kids? Take them to the Finns Recreation Club, which offers waterslides, ten-pin bowling and an indoor trampoline centre. They’ll also like a surf lesson at Seminyak Beach, where you can hire boards and instructors by the hour. There are many family-friendly restaurants and reasonably priced cafes where you can take the whole family for a meal. Try Sea Circus, Sisterfields (the kids will love their burgers and pizzas), Strawberry Fields Wild Hog (the best ribs in Bali), Milk and Madu & Johnny Rockets.
Beach Clubs. For a treat, head to the new mega beach club, Atlas Beach Fest (about a 5-10 min walk away along Batu Belig Beach). The places are perfect for sunset watching over a few cocktails & fine dining. Other beach clubs nearby worth visiting include KU DE TA, Potato Head and The WooBar.
Day Spas. For the ladies, there are many luxe upmarket day spas nearby where you can get your hair and nails done and have a pampering traditional Balinese massage. Some of the best include Think Pink Nails in Batu Belig, Spring Day Spa at Seminyak Village, JAMU in Berawa, MYNX on Jalan Nelayan & Rob Peetoom or Sundari in Petitenget.
