Villa Iskandar is a wonderful 4-bedroom Tabanan holiday villa rental situated within the  Nyanyi Riverside Villa Estate in Tabanan. The villa is only 45 minutes from bustling Seminyak, and Canggu’s best beaches & cafes are a short drive from the villa – you are only 2.5 km from Seseh Beach and 2.6 km from Pererenan Beach.

Outdoor & Pool Areas

The outdoor setting is encased by a lush bamboo jungle, a deep ravine, and a river bordering the property, making for an authentic tropical ambience. The free-form pool provides a place to cool down and have fun with family and friends; the riverside bale is the perfect spot for a massage or maybe some yoga. The pool deck has plenty of sunbeds for tanning, and guests can enjoy meals in the outdoor setting.

Living Areas

The indoor living areas offer an Asian-inspired décor element where you can dine inside and still enjoy the sense of being in the outdoors, with large doors open to the pool and garden. The large dining table easily seats 10 guests; dine in the comfort of an air-con or create an alfresco feel. There is a well-equipped kitchen, and the upstairs media room has a huge flat-screen TV.

The master bedroom suite is upstairs, featuring a queen-sized bed and Asian-inspired furnishings, artworks and ornaments. The private balcony offers great pool views and tropical surrounds to the river. The en-suite has indoor and outdoor amenities, and the open-air soaking tub is inviting. The pool or river sets three guest suites, and one boasts an outdoor timber deck hanging over the river. All rooms offer premium queen-sized bedding.

The villa manager and housekeeping staff will make your stay very comfortable, ensuring the villa is clean and assist with any bookings for transport and other special requests. Enjoy free daily breakfasts, which can be arranged if you require catering for lunches and dinners. Around Villa Iskandar, Tabanan (jungle views – how peaceful)

Villa Iskandar is located on the outskirts of Canggu along the west coast of Bali and just a short drive from Tanah Lot Temple. There are several well-known surf spots not far from the villa, including Echo Beach, Pererenan, and a little further on, Berawa. The villa is a peaceful Balinese village where you can take long beach walks or through the rice fields and watch the locals go about their everyday routines.

Cafes & restaurants. Head to Jalan Batu Bolong in Canggu, where there are loads of fabulous cafes and restaurants. Some of the best are One-Eyed Jacks, Milk and Madu or Milu by Nook in Berawa; in central Canggu, there’s Vida, The Lawn (great for sunset drinks & a few cocktails), Deus ex Machina, Mason and the super popular Crate.

Travelling with kids? Take them to the Finns Recreation Club in Berawa with waterslides, ten-pin bowling and a massive indoor trampoline centre.  They’ll also like a surf lesson on  Batu Bolong  Beach, which is ideal for beginners.  For dinner, there’s Vietnamese at HoiAn, Funky Pancakes at Jalan Linjong, burgers at Pit Stop and pasta at Bottega.

Day Spas. Ladies, there are many day spas in the Canggu area where you can get your hair and nails done and have a fabulous Balinese massage. For the best treatments, head to MYNX on Nelayan or Spring Day Spa and Golddust on Jl. Batu Bolong.

Shopping. Canggu, Berawa, and Batu Belig have many shopping options where you can buy clothes, jewellery, homeware, and other things for the kids.  Make sure you go to Love Anchor Markets in Batu Bolong or the Flea Market in Seminyak. You can also make a day trip to Kuta’s Beachwalk for even more shops and activities for the kids.

Beach Clubs. Canggu and the surrounding areas are dotted with famous beach clubs where you can enjoy chilled music, dining, great beach views and sunset cocktails. Some of the best nearby are  La Brisa, Cafe Del Mar and the new mega beach club Atlas Beach Fest in Berawa – come for the day and enjoy the great vibe.

Sightseeing. Villa Iskandar is in the perfect location in Southern Bali to explore popular tourist attractions like the Monkey Forest Temple in Ubud (great for a day out with the family), Tanah Lot Temple (sunset photos),  Seminyak’s popular Eat Street and Canggu’s exciting Batu Bolong area; your villa manager will arrange transport.
