Villa Joss Seminyak

Villa Joss is a  4-bedroom Seminyak holiday villa that accommodates up to 8 guests.  The villa is designed by a well-renowned Balinese architect famed for works such as the iconic Ku de ta Beach Club. Close to the beach, Seminyak and Canggu is the perfect holiday beach location for any family or group of friends wanting to be in the centre of all the action.

Outdoor & Pool Areas

Nothing is out of place or scale in the idyllic outdoor setting at Villa Joss; the 16-metre pool takes pride in place, and double-sized custom-built day bed recliners are lined up along the edge of the pool for a gratifying sunbathing experience. There is a jacuzzi at one end with an island table shaded by an umbrella, so you can enjoy cold drinks as you enjoy the cooling waters of the fabulous swimming pool. The open-sided pool bale provides a place to dine throughout the day and a comfortable sofa to relax in the shade.

Living Areas

The main living area is in the single-level pavilion at the end of the pool; here, you can stay cool in the air-con or open the doors to the garden. A huge leather sofa, great dining table and modern kitchen provide you with a wonderfully comfortable communal space. There’s a Bose sound system with a 48” flat screen, and a separate media room has another 45” LCD TV with a lovely pastel green couch to stretch out on. This room also has a workstation so you can keep up to date with any work requirements.

4 Bedrooms

The master bedroom is located on the ground floor by the pool. The  king-size bed and matching timber furnishings are hand carved, and sheer white netting, along with matching bed scarves and pillows, offer a level of refinement. The en-suite has a beautiful granite soaking tub behind a glass wall looking onto a private tropical garden. Adjacent to the master on the ground floor, a second king bedded suite is identical with views of the pool. Upstairs, there are two more suites, one with a king and the other with twin beds; en-suite bathrooms resemble the master downstairs.

Staff & Services

The villa’s full-time staff team will provide warm and friendly service throughout your stay. Daily, the villa will be cleaned, and the staff will prepare breakfasts for you to suit your preferences. The staff can arrange in-house spa services, babysitters, and handle any transport needs.

Around Villa Joss, Seminyak

The kids will love the proximity to the beach; here, you can swim, surf, sunbake & people watch. Head south along the beach, and you will pass WooBar and Potato Head on your way to Ku de ta, where you can access central Seminyak. In the other direction you will arrive at Cafe Del Mar Beach Club towards Berawa and Canggu.

Day Spas. Ladies, there are many day spas nearby where you can get your hair and nails done and have one of those dreamy Balinese massages. For the best treatments, head to Think Pink Nails in Batu Belig, Rob Peetoom, or Sundari Day Spas in Petitenget. In Seminyak Central, there’s Spring Day Spa and Ji-Vi or The Shampoo Lounge.

Shopping. Seminyak is the shopping heart of Bali. Make your way to Seminyak Square and walk along Jalan Kayu Aya or Eat Street, where you can buy homewares, clothes and jewellery. For more shopping options, head to Legian and, finally, Kuta, where you can bargain with locals for souvenirs.

Travelling with kids? They’ll love  Waterbom Bali (Asia’s premier water theme park), a great day out for the family. Nearby, they can have a surf lesson at Seminyak Beach, where you can hire boards and instructors by the hour. There are burgers at Grill’d, BossMan or Sisterfields, ribs at Wild Hog for dinner, and treats at Candylicious at Seminyak Village for treats.

Fancy Parting? Start the night at The Champagne Bar, Winx, The Goat or The Forge on Eat Street. Then, it’s off to Motel Mexicola with tacos and tequila and lots of fun. Continue the party at La Favela of Shi Shi, where you can dance till dawn.
