Who doesn’t want to be able to jump into the pool from the living room? You can in your private villa at Mahala Hasa. The living room has an open-concept design for a perfect blend of indoor and outdoor living. Every villa has a lounge/sitting area, dining table and kitchenette equipped with everything needed. The style is natural, classy and inspired by Indonesia with Batik stamps decorating the natural stone walls.

Outdoor & pool area

The outdoor area features natural rock stone walls with tropical greenery cascading down from the top, like some sort of tropical oasis. The 10-metre private swimming pool glistens invitingly in the sun. You can access the pool from the living room and swim to the other end where the sunbeds are. Grab some cold drinks (or get the butler to serve them to you), sunbathe a little and swim laps all in a private and tropical setting. It’s wonderful!

The luxury suite is situated one level above the living room with a private en-suite bathroom to bathe and shower. The room features a high soaring thatched ceiling, AC and a high-quality double bed. For the best treatments head to Spring day spa, Sundari, Think Pink Nails or The Shampoo Lounge on Jalan Kayu Aya. Follow this up with browsing the shops, art galleries, homewares & jewellery shops in the Oberoi area. For more shopping options hop into a Blue Bird taxi and make your way to Kuta’s Kartika Plaza area where there are large shopping centres like Lippo & Discovery Shopping Mall.

Hire a scooter and you can drive to the popular Berawa area in Canggu in less than 10 minutes where you can visit Finns Club on the beach for the day and enjoy chilled music, cocktails and sensational views. You can also go to really popular cafes in the area such as Milk and Madu, Matcha and Butterman Patisserie for the best croissants on the island.

If you feel like partying start off at The Champagne Bar on Eat Street for pre-dinner cocktails then it’s off to Motel Mexicola, or Lacalaca for tequila, Bintangs, tacos and great music. Continue the party at La Favela or finish off with a nightcap at Potato Head Beach Club or Mano Beach House before heading back to the villa.
