Outside, a beautifully tiled 10-metre sparkling pool awaits. Pastel hues of blue surround the pool area; you may feel like you’re in Marrakech. A cushioned gazebo at the end of the pool offers shade during the day, and the rooftop terrace has a funky day bed and recliners where you can enjoy sundowners as the sunsets.

Living Areas

The living room has two huge sofas to fit everyone in front of the 55” smart TV with 80 Cable channels. The kitchen is full of modern appliances with a great breakfast bar with 5 stools, and you can enjoy tropical living with the ceiling fan or keep cool with full air-conditioning. Glass sliding panels open into the dedicated dining room. The designer timber table is joined by 10 suede back chairs, and guests can look out onto the pool as they dine together.

The villa’s accommodation is really versatile so that it can cater for between 6 – 10 guests; there are 2 master suites, a guest suite, a sofa-bed on the mezzanine in one of the master suites and a twin or queen-size bed on the mezzanine floor of the second master suite. The masters both feature king-size beds, and the guest suite has a queen bed; the master suites feature smart TVs, and the guest suite has an LCD TV, and all have private en-suites.

Staff & Services

You will be taken care of by a personal butler while the housekeeping staff will clean daily, and guests will enjoy daily breakfasts prepared by the staff. The staff can assist at an extra cost with personal chefs, bar services, massage, yoga, cooking classes, babysitters, laundry, transport and any special requests.

Around Villa Majorelle, Seminyak (near Double Six beach, cafes & day spas)

The villa is located along Jalan Drupadi, where there are lots of great cafes, restaurants, health food bars, yoga studios and wonderful day spas for relaxing foot reflexology or a famous Balinese massage. You can easily walk to Gado-Gado restaurant right on the beach and turn left past funky beach bars with beanbags on the sand, such as the ultra-popular La Plancha. Make sure you come to Double Six Beach to watch the sunset with a few cold Bintangs. Afterwards, there are loads of places where you can take the family for a meal, such as Shelter Cafe,  Made’s Warung, or perhaps stay on the beach and have a bite to eat.

Shopping. For those that want to spend the day shopping, Villa Majorelle is in one of the best locations to do this, as your bordering Legian has an overload of places to buy clothes, jewellery, homewares and souvenirs. You can also walk up Jalan Drupadi to Jalan Kayu Aya, where you’ll find Seminyak Village and Square, which is the shopping heart of Seminyak.

Want to party? For pre-dinner drinks, you have to visit The Champagne Bar, The Social or The Forge, followed by a meal at Motel Mexicola with tacos, tequila and lots of fun. Continue the party at La Favela or Shi Shi, where you can dance till dawn.

Day Spas. Ladies can visit some wonderful day spas nearby where they can get their hair and nails done and have one of those dreamy Balinese massages. For the best treatments, head to Prana, Jari Menari or the stylish Spring Day Spa at Seminyak Village.

Cafes. If you love your coffee, there are some great cafes nearby where you can also take the kids for a bite to eat.. Make sure you go to Sisterfirlds, BAKED, Revolver on Eat Street, Sea Circus and the chic Kim Soo in the Oberoi area.

Travelling with kids? You can get your villa manager to arrange a taxi to take them to the Waterbom Bali Park in Kuta for a fun day out on the waterslides. Double Six beach is a few hundred metres away, where they can hire a surfboard and surf between the flags. Afterwards, take them to Johnny Rockets, Grill’d or Cornerhouse for burgers. For dessert, there are handmade chocolates at Krakakoa or gelato at Made’s Manis or the famous Gusto.
