Outdoor & Pool Areas

The huge free-form pool has been handcrafted using local stone; at one end, a towering rock waterfall cascades into the pool, and a built-in water slide twists its way down into the pool from the top of the waterfall, can you imagine the kid’s reaction when they see this!! There are plenty of sun lounges at the ready around the pool, and a large poolside bale is a perfect spot for a traditional massage. Beyond the pool, the yard extends to a generous lawn area where the kids can continue to run and play freely.

Living Areas

The open-air and open-plan living space is the perfect retreat out of the sun, featuring a large built-in sofa with a beautiful Suwar timber dining table and a large bench seat for all the guests to gather around and enjoy memorable meals together. For some entertainment, the billiard table will provide hours of fun, and the kitchen is well equipped with many appliances; the staff will be happy to provide any catering services for breakfast, lunch and dinner at an additional cost. A staircase will bring you to the media room, where you can enjoy cable TV or a DVD with the family.

The four-bedroom suites offer a real tropical appeal; bamboo and timber-crafted beds with sheer netting, timber floors, and bay windows make for a unique experience. The spacious en-suites, with a masterful use of natural stone and bamboo, create a charming bathing experience. All rooms are fully air-conditioned and are located on the ground and mezzanine floors.

Around Villa Santai, Umalas (great location close to Seminyak & Canggu)

Umalas is peaceful and quiet, but it’s only a ten-minute drive to central Seminyak and Batu Belig Beach. Further north, guests can easily access Canggu and more popular beaches, including Echo and the very popular Berawa Beach. Umalas has a great selection of cafes, bakeries, small restaurants and convenience stores close to the villa. The Nook is a lovely café that sits in the rice fields just a few minutes from the villa.

If you want to spend the day shopping, head to  Seminyak Village. For more shopping options, there are loads of shops in Berawa and Canggu, which are nearby.

For gym enthusiasts, there are many gyms in Canggu where you can have a daily workout. Head to Bull Gym, SOMA, Nirvana Strength,  Bali MMA and the new Obsidian in Pererenan.

The whole area is bursting with exciting things to buy. For those that love their coffee, some really great cafes are nearby. These include 7 Am Bakers Club, Moodest Coffee, Warung Dua, Bucu, Butterman, Milk and Madu. (which has a kiddie’s playground). If you want to enjoy some of the best beach day clubs in Bali, then Ku De Ta, Cafe Del Mar, Finns, Atlas Beach Fest and Potato Head are close by and well worth a visit for a few sunset cocktails.
