Tropical architecture

Sira Beach House Lombok features a traditional ‘Sasak ’-style open-sided pavilion with a high soaring ‘alang alang’ thatched rooftop supported by Palimanan stone pillars and natural rock walls. The villa is furnished elegantly with beautiful antiques, custom-designed furniture and tribal artefacts. There are comfy sofas and daybeds for daytime lounging and snoozing. In the evening, the living room transforms into a media lounge with a projector and screen. There is a very long 14-seater dining table in a gorgeous Morrocan-styled dining bale that peacefully floats in a pond, and there is a kitchen big enough for cooking classes.

Sprawling tropical garden (6 acres!!!)

The garden is HUGE, and there are towering palm trees all over the place with swaying leaves dancing in the wind high above the manicured green grass lawn. The centrepiece is the stunning 18-metre infinity pool, where you can swim while gazing at the horizon. There are lounge beds on the beach and on the pool deck – plenty of places to work on that tropical island tan! Kids are free to run around with the wind in their hair, and the sea is perfectly safe for swimming, as well. Bicycles, paddleboards and kayaks are available. Sira Beach House even has its own tennis court and croquet pitch. Wow!

6 luxurious bedrooms

The estate houses 6 deluxe villa suites to retreat to at night, scattered around the property in separate stand-alone pavilions. All of the bedrooms are designed in the traditional Sasak style with thatched ceilings, river rock walls, bamboo screens and wooden floors. Each bedroom is equipped with AC, and they come with satellite TVs and tropical open-air bathrooms for showering and bathing beneath the stars. The master suite sits closest to the beach together with a twin-bedded room (great for families with kids!). Wake up to the sound (And the view!) of the ocean after sleeping perfectly on the super comfy king-size bed.
