Villa Subak is a family-friendly 3-bedroom Canggu holiday villa rental situated on the outskirts of rural Canggu. From the indoor and outdoor living areas, guests will enjoy breathtaking views across the lush rice terraces. The villa boasts an amazing infinity pool and spacious living areas to accommodate up to 6 guests—perfect for the kids!
Outdoor & Pool Areas
The villa sits at the top of a gentle slope, offering amazing views across the rice terraces to a gently flowing stream. An extended terrace provides a shaded area to sit back and take in the views across your private infinity pool. All the stresses of city life will be quickly left behind as the distant sound of Balinese ceremonies whisks you to a state of Zen.
Living Areas
The two-storey pavilion sees the living areas on the ground floor, providing easy access to the pool terrace where you can enjoy some al-fresco dining. At one end is a fabulous kitchen, fully equipped with a large breakfast counter with 6 stools to enjoy casual dining throughout the day. The square timber dining table will easily seat 8 guests, a comfy sofa is positioned to take in the rice terrace views, and lots of traditional artifacts and ornaments decorate the area.
3 Modern bedrooms with air-con
Three-bedroom suites provide comfortable accommodation for up to 6 guests; their upstairs location offers great views from the comfort of your bed. The master suite boasts a king-size bed, while the other two rooms queen queen-sized beds. The private en-suites provide guests with rain showers, hairdryers, complimentary shampoos and soaps. All rooms have plenty of wardrobe space; you can choose air-conditioned comfort or turn on the ceiling fans.
Staff & Services
The villa is serviced by professionally trained Balinese staff. Your butler will take care of you and will happily prepare meals for your day and night. The villa and your bedrooms will be cleaned daily to avoid encroaching on your privacy.

The villa is surrounded by traditional Balinese villages and some modern holiday homes, with picturesque rice terraces as far as the eye can see. The villa is well located, so guests can take advantage of the nearby Batu Bolong and Echo Beach, which are within 5 minutes by scooter.
Beach Clubs. There are some fabulous beach clubs near the villa where you can watch the sunset with a few cocktails, enjoy fine dining and listen to chilled music. Ensure you go to La Brisa at Echo Beach, the super-popular Finns, and Atlas Beach Fest in Berawa and Seminyak; there’s KU DE TA and Potato Head. There are also many local beach cafes at Echo Beach where you can watch the sunset and have a meal with the kids.
Day Spas. Ladies, Canggu has some of the best day spas on the island, where you can get your hair and nails done and have a dreamy Balinese massage. For the best treatments, head to Spring Day Spa on Jalan Batu Bolong and MYNX on Jl Nelayan. In Berawa, there’s Flow and JAMU – how perfect!
Shopping. Canggu is a great area to shop where you can buy anything from clothes, jewellery, homewares and souvenirs. Make your way to Jalan Batu Bolong or Jalan Batu Mejan. Head to Seminyak’s famous Oberoi or Eat Street areas for more shopping options. Further away, there’s Legian or Kuta, where you can bargain with locals for souvenirs.
Fancy Partying? Start the night off at Old Man’s or The Lawn for pre-dinner drinks. Then, it’s off to Motel Mexicola for tacos, lots of music and tequila. Continue the party at Mason’s Back Room or head to Sand Bar to continue partying.
Sightseeing. From the villa, you can easily explore other parts of the island. Make sure you visit Tanah Lot Temple (for sunset photos), Ubud’s famous Monkey Forest Temple, Uluwatu Temple, Kuta Beach and Canggu’s popular Jl Batu Bolong shopping and cafe hub.

Amazing Villa
We had an amazing stay at Villa Subak, couldn’t recommend this villa more. The staff were wonderful and assisted with any need we had. All bedrooms very spacious and clean. The pool is massive, definitely the biggest I have seen in a bali Villa. Also, the view of the rice fields are amazing and rare to come across. The location is a bit further back from the main streets of Canggu so the location is very quiet, easy to get scooters as well as the streets aren’t too crazy. Will definitely come back to this villa. Thank you for your stay:)

This was our third trip to bali and we had a chance to stay at Villa subak, it was the most relaxing place to unwind for a relaxing holiday, no noise just rice patty views. restaurants are all walking distance and we did walk to old mans which is roughly 20mins. The villa was absolutely spotless and by far the cleanest we have stayed in since coming to bali. Our Housekeeper Rai organized anything we needed from taxis to getting items without a fuss which was excellent and she can make the best drinks while you relax in the pool, the villa is cheap for what you get and would recommend to anyone that wants a purely relaxing time. Agung the villa supervisor made sure everything was in order or if there were any issues which there were none. The villa could be used for family or just friends enjoying a holiday together.

Super Chilled Villa - Great Location
Villa Subak is located in the middle of both beaches in Canggu, the best way to get about is on scooters and the villa sorted that the first night we got there and brought them to the villa within hours. Look for the number 9 on the wall on the main road, as the villa is 20m down a small lane, so is super private.
The staff were amazing, cleaned the villa and offered to cook breakfast every day. The villa comes with Wifi and a bluetooth speaker system, so you can listen to some tunes whilst taking in the amazing view of the paddy fields from the pool.
Highly recommend booking, good for small groups.

Stunning Villa
Stayed at this Villa just before Christmas. Probably the best value-for-money place I’ve ever stayed in Bali. Great location near the heart of Canggu yet tucked away where it has gorgeous views over rice paddies from the great-sized swimming pool. Would stay again and would certainly recommend it!!!

We loved everything in Villa Subak, its simplicity, the smell, the pool, waking up to rice fields, and bird sounds. , the service and the great staff. Also, there is a beautiful sunset over the rice fields. What I like the most is that the villa is spacious and clean. The perfect place for rest.

A great time had at Villa Subak. everything was perfect; the location near some of our favourite beach clubs, loads of cafes nearby for a meal and best of all was the villa - clean, modern and it was amazing coming back to it every day for a swim and lots of relaxation.
