Outdoor & Pool Areas
The outdoor areas are set 15 meters above the beach; a huge, perfectly manicured lawn allows the family to relax and be part of this amazing landscape. A 20-metre swimming pool is just meters from the villa living areas; the timber pool deck is lined up with timber recliners and trendy cushions, with a view like this to work on your holiday tan; what more could you ask for? Walk down the lawn, and you will find a path leading you onto what is more or less your private beach!
Living areas
The living area is open to the amazing views of the ocean; in the centre of the pavilion, a dining table comfortably seats up to 8 guests, and the skilled chef will happily prepare meals of your preference. The ultra-stylish kitchen is perfect for preparing meals for the family or your friends. Next to the dining area, the media room offers air-conditioned comfort where you can enjoy international channels or maybe a DVD. For a little privacy, curl up on soft daybed mattresses on the timber deck under the shade of the awning. If you need to do some work, there is office space at the rear of the kitchen.
3 Modern bedrooms
There are three stylish bedrooms, all located in separate buildings. To one side of the living pavilion is the master suite, a king-size bed with a tastefully designed bamboo framed canopy draped in mosquito netting and a restful daybed on the patio, bright and cheery with an arty flair to the beautifully decorated en-suite. The sea view suite features a queen-size bed, while the Temple suite provides a twin-bed configuration. Both rooms feature stylish en-suites with soaking tubs and rain showers.
Staff & Services
The friendly Balinese staff will take great care of you during your stay. They are well-trained in offering attentive yet unobtrusive service; the chef will prepare delicious meals at any time upon request, and the housekeeping staff will ensure the villa is well-kept daily. The staff will help you with local knowledge tips on where to go and what to see and arrange all your transport needs.
Around Villa Tantangan, Tabanan
The villa is located in the village of Beraban and is just a few meters from the sand of Nyanyi Beach, which has some good surf spots. The Nirwana Golf Complex is next door, and one of the most popular sightseeing attractions, Tanah Lot Temple, is just minutes away. Canggu is only a 25-minute drive from where you can visit some great beaches, surf, and enjoy an abundance of cafes and restaurants; the very popular Old Man’s Beach and the popular Jalan Batu Bolong area are lots of cafes & restaurants.
Day Spas. Ladies, there are many days spas in the Canggu area where you can get your hair and nails done and have a dreamy Balinese massage. For the best treatments, head to Spring Day Spa on Jl Batu Bolong, Therapy Day Spa at Echo Beach and MYNX on Jl Nelayan.
Travelling with kids? Take them to the Finns Recreation Club, which offers waterslides, ten-pin bowling and an indoor trampoline centre. They’ll also like a surf lesson at Echo Beach, where they can hire boards and instructors by the hour. For dinner, Canggu has many family-friendly restaurants.
Shopping. If you want to buy clothes, jewellery, homewares and souvenirs, head to the Jalan Batu Bolong area of Canggu or Seminyak’s famous Eat Street (your villa manager can arrange transport).
Cafes & restaurants. Canggu is a foodies paradise, and you’ll find many cafes and restaurants where you can grab a coffee and take the family for a bite. Make sure you go to Deus ex Machina, Luigi’s Hot Pizza, Burgreens, Shady Shack, Crate Cafe, Mason and Greek Taverna.
Beach Clubs. There are some fabulous beach clubs in the Canggu area where you can watch the most picturesque sunsets with a few cocktails or cold Bintangs. Head to Atlas Beach Fest or Finns in Berawa or La Brisa and the many beach cafes at Echo Beach.
