Wet Season (November–March): Great Value & Relaxed Travel
The wet season often gets misunderstood. While you’ll see short tropical showers, mornings are usually warm and clear, and the island feels calmer and slower. But wait for it, in the afternoon it generally buckets down for a few hours, so be prepared for this. Having said that, it might not rain at all. So you could get lucky with the weather.

Book 6–12 months in advance if your travel dates fall around June–July or Christmas, as the best villas book up fast. Don’t leave it to the last minute as most of the really good villas will be gone.
