Outdoor & Pool Areas

Enter through the antique wooden doors of Villa Damai Lestari and traverse the large stepping stones across manicured lawns to be greeted by the delightful swimming pool. Lined with tall palms, there are recliners at one end of the pool and at the other, a built-in sofa with vibrant blue cushions where you can enjoy a drink, maybe a game of cards in between jumping back into the pool to cool off.

Living Areas

The open-air and open-plan living area is right by the pool, cooled by ceiling fans and polished floors. The area is spacious, with a huge sofa in front of the flat-screen TV with plenty of international channels to choose from. The kitchen is well equipped if you feel like cooking up a storm or request an in-house chef to dazzle you with culinary delights. The natural timber dining table is ready for 6 guests to share meals.

Three en-suite bedrooms are tastefully appointed with king-size beds, built-in robes and sofas with soft cushions. White netting over the beds ensures a comfortable night’s sleep, and all rooms are air-conditioned. This villa is located in a quiet lane at the top of Jalan Oberoi where you can take a stroll, stopping at what takes your fancy, maybe the Cornerhouse cafe, Sisterfields, Monsieur Spoon, Starbucks or Revolver for a morning coffee, shopping at a couple of the chic boutiques, Kynd Community for some delish food.

Seminyak Square & Seminyak Village are nearby with a supermarket, sports bar and a market. A little further down Jalan Oberoi and you reach the iconic KU DE TA Beach Club or Potato Head or Seminyak Beach.

Day Spas. Ladies can make their way to some upmarket day spas nearby, such as Rob Peetoom or Sundari Day Spa in Petitenget, The Shampoo Lounge at the top of Eat Street, JI-Vi opposite Seminyak Village and Jari Menari.

Shopping. Follow this up with an afternoon shopping in the chic Oberoi area, where you can browse art galleries, jewellery & homewares stores. For more shopping options, hop into a Blue Bird taxi and make your way to Legian, where you can bargain with locals for souvenirs or the Kartika Plaza area of Kuta, where you’ll find large shopping centres such as Discovery Shopping & Lippo Mall.

Fancy Partying? Start the night at The Champagne Bar, The Forge, The Goat or Social for pre-dinner drinks. Then it’s off to Motel Mexicola for tacos and tequila. Continue the party at La Favela or Shi Shi, where you can dance till dawn.

Travelling with kids? Take them to Waterbom Bali, where there are massive waterslides, for a fun day with the family. They might even like a surf lesson at Double Six Beach, where you can hire boards and instructors by the hour. For dinner, there are burgers at Johnny Rockets, Boss Man, Grill’d or Sisterfields, and for dessert, they’ll love the gelato at Gusto in Kerobokan.

Beach Clubs. For a treat, head to Ku De Ta or Potato Head Beach Clubs for cocktails while watching the sunset, followed by an Italian meal on the beach at La Lucciola.
