You want a comfy bed to sleep on and the possibility to jump into the pool from the bedroom. Well, all this and more you can get when staying in a private pool villa in Seminyak. The privacy, luxury and intimacy you get when staying in a villa are unbeatable. Many fabulous one-bedroom villas are many fabulous 1 bedroom villas scattered around town near Double Six, Eat Street, Petitenget or just outside the city centre in Umalas, Batu Belig and Kerobokan. 2. Sunset romance
Bali’s breathtaking sunsets are world-famous for a reason! When sunset strikes, romance is in the air! Head over to Double Six Beach in the late afternoon. Beach bars like La Plancha set the perfect ambience with feel-good music, colourful bean bags and Balinese parasols. The look of Double Six Beach around sunset time is beautiful and highly Instagrammable. You’ll see couples on the beach trying to snap that perfect photo and happy faces glowing in the sunlight. Sit down, chill out, order a cocktail and don’t be shy to ask someone to take a photo of the two of you on the beach against the backdrop of the sunburst sky. These are memorable moments to cherish forever. Many beach clubs are perfect for couples to enjoy a few cocktails while watching the sunset. Try KU DE TA, Potato Head, Cafe Del Mar, Mano Beach House and Mrs Sippy, to name a few. They are either in Seminyak or Canggu, so getting there is a short taxi ride away. You might even like to venture further to Echo Beach and enjoy a BBQ dinner at the many beach cafes or perhaps hit La Brisa for the great vibe, music and amazing views.
3. Scooter trip
Before you fly to Bali, get your international driver’s licence to rent a scooter. There is nothing better than driving around, exploring beaches, hidden alleyways, cool cafes and temples on a motorbike with your babe on the back. You can easily drive from Seminyak to Canggu, Tanah Lot and Uluwatu without needing anything or anyone else. Independent, free as birds, there is no better feeling! As you can see in the video below, traffic can be a bit of a nightmare sometimes, but that’s just part of the fun and adventure – have patience and a good sense of humour, and you’ll be fine.

4. Visit Tanah Lot Temple
No matter how much we love gazing at the sunset while lounging at beach bars and clubs in Seminyak, you have to save one evening to watch the sunset at Tanah Lot, a beautiful sea temple located just up north of Seminyak and Canggu. It’s an iconic image of Bali – sunset at Tanah Lot- one of those places to get off your list of things to do in Bali. A fun scooter drive from Seminyak, the legendary temple, is beautiful and sacred. Stroll around hand in hand with your lover, take photos and sit down for drinks before driving back to your Seminyak Villa later in the evening. On the way back, why not stop for dinner in Canggu?

5. Private tour with a personal chauffeur
Bali has A LOT to offer! Rice paddies, temples, waterfalls, beaches, volcanoes, museums, plantation farms and much more. The best and most comfortable way of seeing the island is with a private chauffeur in a private air-conditioned vehicle. You can go on fabulous day trips from Seminyak to see the highlights. We recommend seeing Uluwatu and Canggu on a motorbike, but if you want to see more and travel further, hire a car and driver. One day you can see Ubud ( check the Monkey Forest & the Tegalalang Rice Terraces) and Kintamani. On another day, you can visit Bedugul and Lovina and on yet another day, travel east towards Candidasa and Amed.
6. Catamaran Cruise
What’s more romantic than sailing off into the sunset sky, opening a bottle of wine and dining on the deck of a catamaran beneath a starry night sky? Book a private cruise to Nusa Lembongan Island, and your dreams will come true. A great way to surprise your lover on a special evening!
7. Cooking class
If you love Indonesian food as we do, why not sign up for a Balinese cooking class together during your stay in Seminyak? This way, you will take something of true value home with you as you can recreate the flavours and scents of Bali back home with you in your kitchen.
8. Couples massage
Grab a massage together and enjoy a dreamy Balinese massage at one of the many day spas in Seminyak. Couples, newlyweds, and honeymooners can share a private room and enjoy a professional massage together for a couple of hours. Many day spas provide other treatments for the guys and gals to rejuvenate their bodies, like facials, hot stone therapy, reflexology, and so much more. We recommend Rob Peetoom, Sundari Day Spa or Spring Day Spa.
