Stylish open-plan living room

The living room is designed to be open-plan to the garden. Bamboo shutters can be lowered to create a more closed-off living room when needed. The interior design is boho-chic and stylish, with natural carpets and lamps and handmade textiles from Indonesia framed on the wall. There are 2 sitting areas, one for enjoying the garden and pool views and another one to watch movies on a large flat-screen TV with international channels. There is an 8-seater dining table, and the kitchen is ultra-modern with an oven, fridge and a Nespresso coffee machine.

Tropical pool garden

The pool looks most inviting, with crystal clear water and lush tropical greenery growing by the side of the water. The pool is 15 meters long, perfect for lap swimming under clear blue skies. There is a stone sundeck with sunbeds and parasols, and the pool has a large shallow platform where parents can take their kids for some water fun.

Villa Jaanuva has 3 bedrooms. The master suite is located upstairs, giving access to a breezy terrace where you can sit and relax with a cup of Nespresso in the morning. The room is furnished with a king-size bed, and the en-suite bathroom boasts a free-standing bathtub, dual sink and a luxurious rain shower.

The location of Villa Jaanuva couldn’t be any more central: close to Batu Belig, Seminyak and all of the hot spots in Canggu.

Travelling with kids? Go check out Finn’s Recreation Club, where you can have fun at the on-site waterpark and explore the excellent facilities such as the tennis court, bowling alley, massive indoor trampoline centre and gym. They might even like a surf lesson at Berawa Beach, where you can hire boards and instructors by the hour. Great family cafes nearby include Made’s Warung (formerly known as The Joglo), Milk & Madu (with a playground area for the kids), Pels Supershop, healthy salad bows at Bali Buda and shopping arcade Tamora Gallery in Berawa. For a fun day out, take them to the famous Monkey Forest Temple in Ubud or take sunset photos at Uluwatu or Tanah Lot Temple.

Cafes. If you love your coffee, you’ll love the location of the villa, as there are loads of family-friendly cafes nearby where you can also grab a bite to eat with the kids. Make sure you go to Watercress,   Folie, and Nourish and the popular Milu by Nook on Jalan Pantai Berawa.

Day Spas. For the ladies, day spas such as Spring Day Spa, Glo and Think Pink Nails & Sundari Day Spa and Rob Peetoom in Petitenget are very close by, where you can get your hair and nails done & have a fabulous Balinese massage.

Shopping. If you want to do some shopping, Seminyak’s popular Oberoi and Petitenget areas are about a 5-10 min taxi ride away from where there are shops selling everything from clothing, jewellery, homewares, and souvenirs. Legian and Kuta are also shopping destinations where you can spend the day browsing shops and bartering with local vendors. Canggu’s popular Jl Batu Bolong is also nearby, with local markets and lots of boutique shops.

Beach Clubs. Make sure you go to the newly built mega beach club Atlas Beach Fest in Berawa and enjoy chilled music, fine dining or snacks, with a sensational swimming pool by the ocean.
