Outdoor and pool area

When guests step into the jaw-dropping compound of Villa Semarapura, they are awestruck by its sheer magnificence and opulence. The architectural style is very modern and unique, with attention to the finest details. A two-storey building overlooks a lovely pool, and by the side of the pool are several pool chairs, which are perfect for poolside relaxation. On one end of the pool is a small dining set that is perfect for guests to dine alfresco. From the poolside, guests enjoy a lovely view of the sea. Perfect location for those wanting seaside tranquillity.

The living area

Villa Semarapura has a stunning living room on the upper floor of the storey building. It is elegantly furnished with comfortable sofas, wooden tables and stools. From this vantage point, guests have an unrestricted view of the entire pool and the ocean in the distance. In another pavilion is a cozy dining area, and right beside the pool is a poolside bar and another sitting area, which will be a perfect spot to enjoy drinks in the evenings.

5 modern bedrooms with air-con

The five ensuite bedrooms of Villa Semarapura are ultra-modern in their design. They are spacious, elegantly furnished and well-appointed. While the bedrooms on the top floor have access to a private balcony from where guests have a great view of the compound and ocean, the bedrooms on the ground floor have direct access to the lush gardens and pool. The villa has four king beds and a convertible twin bed.

Staff and services with a private chef

Guests of the villa get to enjoy free airport pickups and the dedicated services of a villa manager, chef, butler, daily housekeeping and security. The staff will ensure that guests have all they need throughout their stay. The staff are very professional and will be on hand daily to ensure that everything you need is handled quickly.

Just a walking distance from the villa is the pristine shores of the beach. Guests can enjoy strolls in the evenings and watch amazing sunsets, which are so famous in Bali.

Make sure you head to the famous and buzzing Jalan Batu Bolong or Batu Mejan area in Canggu to experience some great cafes & restaurants. Try Deus ex Machina, Bottega, Mason, Penny Lane & Fishbone. For the vegans, head to Shady Shack, Give & the very popular Crate.

Beach Clubs. For those who like to watch the sunset with a cold Bintang or cocktail, head to The Lawn at the end of Jalan Batu Bolong. This is where everyone goes to listen to music, enjoy the vibe and grab a bite to eat with the family. Other beach clubs worth visiting are the new Atlas Beach Fest in Berawa and Cafe Del Mar in Batu Belig.

Day Spas. For the ladies, there are some upmarket day spas in Canggu where you can get your hair and nails done, plus have one of those dreamy Balinese massages. Head to AMO, the ultra-popular Spring, Goldust Beauty Lounge or eSpace day spas for the best treatments.

Shopping. If you want to do some shopping, Canggu is the place to be. Visit the Love Anchor daily markets along Batu Bolong and go from there. You might also like to go to Jalan Pantai Berawa, where cute shops sell clothes, jewellery, artwork and homewares. There is also the new Tamora Gallery worth checking out, especially if you are with kids, as there is a playground area for them where the adults can relax while enjoying a meal.

Travelling with kids? Take them for a surf lesson at Old Man’s Beach, where you can hire boards and an instructor or perhaps a day at the Finns Recreation Club with waterslides, ten-pin bowling and a massive indoor trampoline centre. For dinner, you can organise a BBQ night at the villa or take them to the famous Made Warung in Berawa for a traditional Indonesian feast or perhaps burgers and pizza at Milk and Madu. For dessert, there’s gelato at Al Bacio or Gaya near Echo Beach.

Yoga & gyms. For those who fancy some yoga, three really good studios in Canggu have daily classes for all levels. The Practice, Samadi or Serenity Yoga are all close by. For fitness fanatics, there’s an F45 studio on Jalan Batu Bolong where you can burn off all those holiday calories. Other good Canggu gyms are Bulls, Wunderlust and Nirvana Strenght.
