Things to do with the kids in Canggu – take them to Bounce
If you happen to be in the Canggu area and staying in one of our Canggu family villas, then you are probably wondering what there is to do with the kids, especially if it’s raining in Bali, which can and does happen during the rainy season between Oct to Feb. The last thing you want is a bunch of bored kids hanging around the villa wondering what they are going to do for the day, spoiling everyone’s time, especially if you want to hit Eat Street and do some shopping. Well, your worries are over.
Just around the corner, or probably up the road from the place you’re staying in, is the Finns Recreation Club. They have what’s called Bounce, an indoor trampoline centre. So those parents out there wondering what on earth they can do with their kids, well, you can relax and de-stress because your problems are all solved.
There are Olympic sized trampolines as well as basketball rings where the kids can bounce big time and score those points. There is also a childminding centre ( if you have young ones and want to keep them entertained while your older kids jump around), a cafe and the venue is ideal for children’s parties. For adults who want to get their pulse rate up, why not join the kids and have some fun on the trampolines? For more information, have a look at the Bounce website
On the weekend there are DJ’s that play the latest songs to really amp up the adrenaline and get the kids jumping around like Michael Jordan and burn all that holiday energy. It’s a fun, healthy and more importantly completely safe way to keep your kids entertained while the parents sit back and enjoy some downtime, shopping or going to the Berawa or Echo beach which is nearby. It really is the perfect way to get the kids off your hands for a few hours.
If you want to get there easily, it’s best to ask your villa manager who can organise a taxi for you. For most newbies to the Canggu area who are not yet familiar with the place, it’s really central and opposite the huge water slide, so it’s easy to find.
