Outdoor & Pool Areas

The outdoor setting offers a gorgeous tropical setting; head down the stone stairway from the villa to the free-form pool, surrounded by a tropical rainforest of mature trees, tropical palms and frangipanis. The large stone pool deck is perfect for enjoying the sun on the recliners before you leap into the pool to cool off, relax on the infinity wall, and enjoy views of the jungle all around. The massive Alang-Alang roofed gazebo runs along one side of the pool, where you can enjoy refreshing drinks together or relax with a good book as you await the staff to serve up a BBQ feast for a late lunch.

Living Areas

At Villa Alamanda, the living areas are designed so you can enjoy the open-air tropical living experience, soaking up the smells and sounds of the rainforest. Decorated with an array of Asian artifacts and ornaments along with beautiful artworks, the rustic furnishings are comfortable and match the tropical environment. A dining area affords the sounds of the river gauge below, and the media room has air conditioning, plenty of toys and games for the kids, and a great selection of DVDs.

A master suite and 3 guest rooms offer accommodation for up to 8 guests; the master’s teak interior is decorated with works of local artists, a private terrace offers fabulous views, and the king-size bed is ultra inviting. All guest rooms offer full air conditioning, king-size beds, and tropical garden bathrooms with outdoor showers and soaking tubs.

Go on a cycling tour through the rice fields, visit the Monkey Forest or Dine at the Cascades in candlelight; Naughty Nuri’s has pork ribs to die for!

Ubud is a sensational village to escape the crowds of southern Bali. Near the villa, you’ll find some family-friendly cafes & restaurants where you can take the kids for a bite to eat. The choices are huge. All you need to do is walk around Monkey Forest Road and soon discover loads of places to eat.

For a day out with the family, make sure you do the Campuhan Ridge walk, where you can see picturesque rice fields and get that must-have Instagram shot. There’s also a fund day tour for the family at Jatiluwih with picturesque ricefileds.

For the ladies, there are loads of day spas throughout Ubud where you can get your hair and nails done and get a dreamy Balinese massage.
