There are not too many hotels in Candidasa, so most people will opt for their luxury accommodation in Bali by renting a villa for a week or so to escape the crowds and tourists of Southern Bali. Getting to Candidasa is relatively easy and is only a short 90-minute drive from the airport.

If you are the active type and want to do a bit of exploration, then Candidasa is the ideal launching area to uncover the jewels of the central and eastern parts of Bali, which are rich in cultural and scenic delights such as Ubud, Klungkung, Ketewel & Sanur. You can easily make your way to Ubud for the day and see all the sights, and have a meal. It’s super easy to get to.
