From humble beginnings to one of the most trusted and established holiday villa rental agencies in Bali.

Where did it all start?

Back in 2005, two mates — Nathan and Steve — came together with a simple idea. With backgrounds in marketing and Bali real estate, they saw a gap in the market for Aussies who wanted more than just another faceless villa booking site. Instead of the “click, book, and forget” approach offered by big international platforms, they set out to build something personal — a team of Bali villa specialists who’d guide travellers from start to finish. From choosing the perfect location to finding the right villa and offering support throughout the stay, their goal was to make the whole experience genuine, seamless, and filled with that friendly Aussie touch.

Where are we today?

Thanks to our genuine, hands-on approach with both guests and villa owners, what began in 2005 with just 30 villas has now grown to more than 925 carefully selected properties in 2026. Despite the growth, our commitment to personal service hasn’t changed one bit. We still live right here in Bali, personally visiting and managing many of the villas that join our collection. It’s that local presence and everyday involvement that keep our service authentic, trustworthy, and true to the original vision we started with.

‘We stayed at the Chakara Villas (Anahata) in Seminyak. The welcome was warm and informative. Initially, we thought that the location was somewhat isolated from the main areas of Seminyak, but once we were given great guidance from a hand-drawn map, we found the location ideal – far enough away for quiet and seclusion but close enough for access to Seminyak proper.
The staff who provided the daily service were friendly yet unobtrusive.
The layout of the villa was ideal for the two couples.
We will certainly consider using Bali Villa Escapes in the future and staying at this or a similar villa.

The communication prior to booking was excellent. The villa exceeded our expectations; it was modern but homely, clean and had everything you needed! We were greeted by a member of staff who explained she’d be at our villa from 9-3 pm to do any cleaning or help organise things to do for us. She was amazing and kept the villa sparkling! The pool was cleaned while we were there, too. I couldn’t believe the service for the price. 1350 aus dollars for 10 days! Amazing! I will definitely use this company again.

Just wanted to send a follow up email Re: our booking at Aramanis Villa Damai. We had a wonderful week, loved the Villa and especially wanted to thank our butler Tiwi who was fabulous. Her breakfasts were wonderful and we miss her! Damai is situated perfectly in Seminyak, felt secure and homely . We appreciated the extra touches like the Christmas tree. Our Christmas dinner with private chef was spectacular! Our son become quite ill whilst staying at the villa and staff were quick to assist with medical help which was much appreciated.
