Villa Griya Atma is a  4 bedroom Ubud holiday villa rental where guests are spoilt with a gorgeous infinity swimming pool including a fabulous jacuzzi and outdoor gazebo, all set amid the lush rice fields of Ubud. It’s just minutes from Ubud’s city centre, where you can wine & dine, shop at traditional markets where you can bargain with locals, enjoy some yoga sessions and visit mystical ancient temples.

The adjoining sister villa; Villa Griya Adita, can also be rented in conjunction for larger families and groups.

Outdoor & Pool Areas

What more could you ask for than your own private pool to take in the magnificent rice paddy views, right from the edge of your pool, or kicking back in the adjoining Jacuzzi. The poolside bale is there for those seeking comfort in the shade and recliners are accompanied by colourful parasols. Ask your private chef to stir up an Indonesian classical dish full of spice to your liking and maybe something western for the kids. The setting, the service and the food will delight the whole family or your best mates!

Living Areas

A separate, main living pavilion is designed for guests to enjoy the beautiful tropical gardens and there is air-conditioning to meet your personal atmospheric desires. A large dining table is at the ready for all-day dining and an adjacent relaxation area has plush sofas, huge flat-screen TV/DVD and rear doors opening onto the garden and a tranquil lily pond with some local wildlife the kids will get a kick out of.

The Master suite offers plenty of privacy with its own private patio area, floor to ceiling glass walls providing refreshing views from the comforts of your king-sized bed. There’s a comfy day bed for some light reading and a work desk to keep in touch with any work commitments amid paradise. Appointed in a traditional Balinese theme, the room is cozy with a large wardrobe and before bed may be soaking in the bathtub or refreshing outdoor shower will put you into relaxed sleep mode, before climbing into your king-size bed for an undisturbed night’s sleep. Six more guests will enjoy premium queen-sized bedding, equally as tasteful as the master suite and one bedroom boasting a private lounge and study is located upstairs and features a flat-screen TV and even a library of books to choose from. Every room features its own private en-suite where you can shower inside or out under the starry skies.

Staff & Services

The local staff are very well versed in taking care of guests from around the world, providing warm and attentive service whilst respecting your holiday privacy at all times. You also have security, a car and driver on standby ( to take you anywhere) and housemaids. So your job is to simply relax and soak in the tropical ambience. The staff have an excellent knowledge of local sites and places to visit, so don’t hesitate to ask for advice.

Around Villa Griya Atma, Ubud (a short drive to the centre of Ubud)

A quiet Balinese village just on the border of Ubud’s city centre, Tengkulak Kelod is where the villa is located with gorgeous rice field surrounds it. You will hear the pleasant sounds of traditional Hindu ceremonies’ from time to time, giving you a wonderful insight into local village life should you stroll around the local area. There are many spiritual temples, fine art galleries, and beautiful restaurants like Cascades and The Viceroy, a 7-star hotel. The area is famed for yogi enthusiasts and its many yoga studios; staying in Ubud is about finding peace and harmony. Make sure you go to Intuitive Flow, The Yoga Barn or the popular Radiantly Alive.

If you can’t live without your daily coffee fix, then there are loads of amazing cafes in Ubud where you can go and get your daily coffee fix and a bite to eat. Head into town, where you’ll find the super popular Milk & Madu, Starbucks, Pison and Betelnut. For the ladies, there are loads of well-priced day spas in Ubud where you can get your hair and nails done & have one of those fabulous Balinese massages.

Also, remember to try some of those fabulous organic/vegan cafes in Ubud or perhaps go to a cooking class after a yoga session. If you are travelling with kids, then take them to the famous Monkey Forest Temple for a real treat or do the Campuhan Ridge Walk to show them the picturesque rice fields.
