7 modern bedrooms
Villa Karmagali has 7 modern and large bedrooms, all furnished with a king-sized bed for a great night’s sleep and fully air-conditioned. The bedrooms are in pavilions surrounding the pool. Another wow factor feature is a private terrace for each bedroom where you can sit and have your morning coffee before a dip in the pool. Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom for maximum privacy, with the best amenities and rain showers set among exotic plants to give you a real sense of being in the tropics.
Swimming pool & garden area
Just imagine waking up and going for a swim in your 50-foot-long swimming pool. Or watching the kids spend hours having fun in this gorgeous sun-kissed pool? The pool is flanked by two sun beds perfectly positioned for sun tanning and enjoying the warm Bali tropical sun. Tropical plants and lush trees border and surround the swimming pool to add to the whole Bali ambience. Beautifully landscaped garden areas have well-manicured lawns, which are excellent for the kids to play.
Living areas
The large open-plan living areas are sensational with authentic traditional Indonesian décor and interiors. The living areas have lots of comfy space with plush couches and ottomans for relaxation and downtime with friends or family. The open-plan living and dining room overlooks the pool and is located in the Kayu Bungalow. This luxurious space is crowned by a high ceiling and decorated with rich earth tones. How decadent!
The dining area has an 8-seater dining table, which can be extended to seat 12 guests when larger groups stay at the villa. A fully equipped kitchen is in a separate pavilion on the other side of the pool. Guests are welcome to use the kitchen. The open-sided living area opens to the swimming pool, allowing easy access for a quick cool-down dip in the crystal clear waters.

When you stay at Villa Karmagali, you don’t have to lift a finger as a team of villa staff ensures your stay is sublime.
Villa Karmagali’s villa manager is an English-speaking, experienced, and knowledgeable manager who is responsible for the overall operation of the villa. The villa manager will oversee the staff and also be able to help with dinner reservations, driver and car hire, in-house villa massages and shopping trips. Housekeepers attend the villa daily to clean all bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas, change wet towels and bed linen and keep the place spotless. Butlers are on hand daily to assist with serving during meal times and attend to other guest requirements throughout the day. Villa Karmagali has a full-time spa therapist offering massages and body and facial treatments based on guests’ requests.
Around Villa Karmagali Sanur
Sanur is a popular holiday destination in Bali known for its beautiful beaches, calm waters, shopping areas and great cafes, making it an excellent place for families. The area is generally quieter and less crowded than other parts of Bal, like Seminyak or Cangui, providing a more relaxed atmosphere for a Bali holiday.
Sanur Beach. For avid surfers, Sanur Reef is close to the villa, and for a relaxing swim, the calm waters of Sanur Beach are the ideal place for the family to take a leisurely swim.
Travelling with kids? Take them to the beach for a surf lesson or some snorkelling. You can also head to the popular Jl Tamblingan shopping and cafe area where there are many places for a family meal. For a fun day out get the villa manager to arrange a day trip to Waterbom Bali in Kuta for a fun day out on the waterslides or visit the famous Monkey Forest Temple in Ubud.
Cafes & restaurants. Villa Karmagali is near some fabulous cafes and restaurants where you can grab a quick coffee fix or take the kids for a bite to eat. Make sure you go to Soul on the Beach, Sala Bistro, the super popular Genius Cafe and the famous Naughty Nuri’s.
Shopping. Lined with countless street stalls, Jalan Danau Tambling is Sanur’s main street and the place to stroll up and down looking for a bargain. It is near the villa. It offers everything from cheap knick-knacks to electronics, jewellery, homewares, and brand-name bags (fake, of course). The new mega Icon Bali Mall in Sanur’s main area (opened in 2024) also offers many shopping, dining, and entertainment options, plus two beach clubs.

We rented the entire villa (7 bedrooms) for a family get together for my 50th and it was absolutely wonderful in every way. The staff made us feel completely at home from the day we arrived and always polite, charming and the villa manager was the best and helped me arrange the birthday party. The villa is immaculate and is a real oasis of calm. 100% recommend to anyone wanting to holiday in privacy and luxury.

Hard to fault this wonderful villa so close to the beach. Never really wanted to leave the villa as the place is just so nice to relax and unwind. However it's only 10 minutes walk from the beach. I can't recommend Villa Karmagali highly enough - am planning a trip with our family and another next year.

AMAZING
It was great to stay here for 10 days with a group of my best friends . It's far far far better than the website. The staff and the owner have eye for details. The rooms are lovely and so cosy and very private. Breakfast was so yummy - a winner.
