Nude Cafe in Berawa, Canggu, is one of those cafes everyone goes to, whether for breakfast, lunch or dinner; the place is packed the whole time.
For travellers staying in a Canggu villa or perhaps a homestay or hotel, Nude is easy to find as it sits at one of the busiest intersections in Berawa, making for an action-packed vibe. There is outdoor seating and an enclosed indoor area for those digital nomads that want to sit inside for hours. Most people prefer being outside to watch Jl Pantai Berawa’s passing action.
Let’s get down to the menu. There are yummy pancakes, delish smoothie bowls, french toast, smashed avo on toast, nude massive big breakfast, a whole range of healthy salads, wraps, burgers ( we love the barramundi burger), milkshakes, wheatgrass shots and the standard coffees and teas. If you’re a vegan, there are vegetarian options, and it’s super family-friendly with a relaxed, casual vibe. The pricing will also please those on a budget. While it’s not as cheap as your local Balinese warung (as expected), the average dish comes in at roughly Rp 100,000, about AUD 10. If you’re coming with a family of four, you’ll end up paying around AUD $ 80, which is reasonable, especially if you have a few drinks and entrees thrown in. It’s open from 7 am till 10 pm so you can go there for all your meals.
There are so many cafes to choose from in Berawa and Canggu, but Nude seems always to be consistently busy because of its great food, vibe and pricing. We love it cause it’s got such a nice vibe, and the staff are always friendly and smiling. If you’re coming back from Finns or Atlas Beach Fest down the road after a few cocktails, Nude is the ideal pitstop to fill up on the carbs or continue the night with a few cocktails. And, if you’re staying in a Seminyak villa and are making the trip to Canggu for the day, definitely come to Nude for a quick refuel for lunch while spending the day shopping in the many boutiques around the area or after a visit to a few of the local day spas.
To sum it up, Nude Cafe won’t disappoint. It’s got all the right ingredients which is why it’s so successful.
