The garden

Villa Vida features a lovely private garden with frangipani and palm trees planted around the sparkling private swimming pool. Luxurious lounge beds are placed by the poolside, partly shaded by large white parasols. While sunbathing, you can hear the sound of the sea, calming your mind and relaxing your entire being.

The design of the living room is super tropical, open-sided to the garden and pool area. Lush vegetation surrounds the living space, which is decorated with tribal artifacts and beautiful traditional textiles. On one side, there is an elegant sofa lounge where you can curl up with a book or sit back to enjoy the garden views. On the other side, there is the handsome single slab teak wood dining table and the contemporary kitchen. Prefer air-conditioned comfort over alfresco living? Villa Vida is a 4-bedroom villa and all rooms are air-conditioned and very comfortable. They are styled individually and decorated with hand-picked contemporary artwork, traditional fabrics and designer lamps. All of the bedrooms are fitted with split king-size beds, satellite TVs, mini-fridges and safety boxes. Every room has a private en-suite bathroom fitted with a double vanity and luxurious rainfall showers (the master room even boasts double rain showers!).

The location is just unbeatable, just steps away from Berawa Beach and a short drive from Batu Belig, Echo Beach and Seminyak. Other hot spots in the neighbourhood include Finn’s Recreation Club (Splash Waterpark), Bali Deli, Watercress and many more cool and trendy cafes.

Day Spas. For the ladies, there are loads of day spas close by where you can get your hair and nails done & have a dreamy Balinese massage. For the best treatments, go to Think Pink Nails in Batu Belig or Rob Peetoom and Sundari Day Spa in Petitenget.

Cafes. If you love your coffee, there are loads of amazing cafes nearby where you can also take the kids for a bite to eat. Make sure you go to Pels Supershop, RUKO, Healthy Tribes,  Hungry Bird,  Milk and Madu (they have a children’s playground area), Mowies, Fiollie, Bokashi and Milu by Nook.

Fancy Partying? Start the night off at Old Man’s, Motel Mexicola or The Lawn at the end of Jalan Batu Bolong for sunset cocktails (this is where everyone goes, and then it’s off to Cafe Del Mar for chilled music, fine dining and fun times. Continue the night at La Favela or Shi Shi on Eat Street in Seminyak, where you can party till dawn, or Atlas Beach Fest in Berawa for a nightcap before returning to the villa.

Travelling with kids? Take them to the Finns Recreation Club, where there are water slides, ten-pin bowling & a massive indoor trampoline centre called Bounce. They might even like a surf lesson at Berawa Beach, where you can hire boards and an instructor by the hour. For dinner, take them to Warung Mades, where they can have an authentic Indonesian meal while watching a traditional Legong Dance show, ribs & burgers at Wild Hog or delish Chinese food at Happy Chappy.

Shopping. If you want to spend the day shopping, you can easily make your way into Seminyak, where there are many shopping options along with the Petitenget and Oberoi areas. The best place to start is Seminyak Village, and you can go from there. Your villa manager can arrange transport. You might even like to go to the Kartika Plaza area in Kuta, where there are large shopping malls like Lippo and Discovery Shopping Mall.

Supermarkets. If you want to stock up on your villa supplies, there are two supermarkets (Popular & Canggu Station) within walking distance that have fresh food, snacks for the kids & groceries ( including alcohol) to keep everyone fed & happy.
