The villas swimming pool is sleek and at 25 metres in length great for some holiday exercise. At the far end, a large built-in jacuzzi is a perfect spot to relax with a drink soak up the sun and relax your muscles, it’s also a safe pool for the kids. Sun lounges line the timber deck and face onto relaxing rice field views and the lawn is big enough for children to play games while upstairs the BBQ pit on the rooftop terrace is great for sundowners. The sound of running water adds a Zen influence, while smart design includes the formation of a moat around the main pavilion.

Living Areas

The villas indoors are stylish with an Asian influence amid subtle Balinese undertones, rich timber furnishings, clusters of Asian artifacts, ornaments and an array of beautiful hanging art works. The elegant living and dining spaces feature a 12 seater solid timber dining table; enjoy the air-con or open the doors to the tropics. There is a well-equipped kitchen with high-end appliances, the best of toasters, coffee and fresh juice machines for your continental breakfasts served by your private butlers. Upstairs is a designated massage area where you can enjoy in-house spa treatments.

Four of the bedrooms including the master suite are built around the L-shaped pool while the fourth room with twin beds is located upstairs. The four-poster king-size bed in the master suite is very inviting while the en-suite has a huge stone soaking tub and spacious dressing rooms. Two guest suites also boast king-size beds with identical, private en-suites, featuring spacious, semi-open-air tropical bathrooms.

Around Villa Kayajiwa, Canggu – top location near cafes & Old Man’s beach

The villa is located in a quiet street off the main Batu Bolong Road making it easy to walk to the beach in 20 mins or 2 mins on a scooter.

In the afternoons Old Man’s is a popular spot for happy hour drinks in a beer garden styled setting with live music in the evenings. Just across the way is The Lawn now made popular with beanbags to flop into and enjoy the sunset with your favourite cocktails or a few cold Bintang’s.

Echo Beach is another popular nearby surf spot with a great seafood BBQ in the early evenings and there are an array of juice bars, cafes, boutiques, restaurants, day spas and everything else you could possibly need for a fabulous holiday in Bali.

There are so many restaurants and cafes around this area that you’ll be spoilt for choice. Make sure you try:  Crate, Milk And Madu, Mason, Fishbone, The Avocado Factory or the famous Deus ex Machina. For dessert, there’s Gaya Gelato at Echo Beach or the popular Bomba.

For a treat get your villa manager to arrange transport to take you to the new mega beach club Cafe Del Mar (about 10 min away in Batu Belig) for sunset drinks, fine dining, chilled music and sensational beach views. This is the newest addition to the Bali beach scene and should be on your bucket list.

For the ladies, there are some upmarket day spas close by where you can get your hair and nails done plus have one of those dreamy Balinese massages. Make sure you go to AMO, Therapy, Goldust Beauty Lounge or the popular Spring day spa on Jalan Batu Bolong.

Travelling with kids? Take them to the Finns Recreation Club where there are waterslides, ten pin bowling and a huge door trampoline centre. You might also like to take them to Old Man’s beach for a surf lesson (you can hire boards & an instructor by the hour). Follow this up with burgers at BB52 or Pit Stop, or a healthy meal at Shady Shack. Or, take  them for a great Indonesian meal at Mades Warung in Berawa.
