Outdoor & Pool areas

A large timber pool deck leads out from the main living pavilion; there is a teak outdoor setting where you can enjoy meals cooked by your chef on the top-of-the-range BBQ. A row of stylish timber sun recliners is ready for you to soak up the rays, and a calming water feature on the poolside wall plays a pleasant melody. Ask your butler to prepare your favourite cocktail as you welcome another magical sunset.

Living Areas

Akara Villas has a separate open-plan living and dining area that lends itself to a spacious lounge area, ideal for a wonderful dinner with friends and family, maybe some imported wine or a pool party with friends from back home. The fully equipped kitchen is tucked in a corner where you can do your catering or ask the villa staff to take over the culinary choirs.  The villa has excellent entertainment facilities, a satellite LCD TV, a DVD player and a Bose docking station to create your holiday vibe.

4 Bedrooms

On the upper floor of the main pavilion, you will find the master suite with all the modern amenities you could ask for, while three guest suites are equally comfortable, and each features an en-suite bathroom with a separate bathtub. Three rooms feature four-poster canopied beds, and the fourth twin is easily converted to a king. The en-suites are decorated in beautiful marble with decadent soaking tubs, twin vanities and rain showers.

Located in a quiet lane just off Jalan Petitenget, guests can easily walk to all the most desirable attractions in Seminyak. The beach is easily accessed from the villa, and some of the newest and hippest boutiques are along this strip.

Travelling with kids? Take them to the Finns Recreation Club, with waterslides, ten-pin bowling and a massive indoor trampoline centre. They’ll also enjoy a surf lesson at Seminyak Beach, where you can hire boards and instructors. For dinner, they’ll love the burgers at BossMan, Grill’d, Sisterfields, and Johnny Rockets, which are all close by. For dessert, there are doughnuts at Dough Darlings, yummy gelato at Gusto in Kerobokan and treats at Candylicious at Seminyak Village.

Day Spas. Ladies, get totally pampered at the many-day spas nearby, where you can get your hair and nails done and have a dreamy Balinese massage. Head to Rob Peetoom or Sundari Day Spa in Peitenget, Think Pink Nails in Batu Belig and Spring Day Spa at Seminyak Village for the best treatments.

Shopping. Spend the day walking up and down Jalan Kayu Aya or Eat Street, which has many boutique shops selling clothes, homewares, jewellery and souvenirs. For more shopping options Legian and Kuta are a short taxi ride away, where you can enjoy bargaining with locals. Or visit large shopping centres like Lippo, Discovery Shopping Mall, and Bali Galleria.

Beach Clubs. Seminyak is the beach club heart of Bali, and Akara Villas is near some of the best, where you can watch the sunset with a few cocktails and cold Bintangs and enjoy fine dining and chilled music. Head to KU DE TA or Potato Head in  Seminyak, Mari Beach Club  in Petitenget or Cafe Del Mar in Batu Belig.

Fancy Partying? Start the night at The Champagne Bar, Social, The Goat or The Forge on Eat Street. Then it’s off to Motel Mexicola for tacos and tequila. Continue the party at La Favela or Shi Shi, where you can dance till dawn.

Sightseeing. From the villa, you can easily explore other parts of the island. Make sure you visit Tanah Lot Temple (for sunset photos), Ubud’s famous Monkey Forest Temple,  Uluwatu Temple, Kuta Beach and Canggu’s popular Batu Bolong area.
