If you want to keep in shape while enjoying all the culinary delights of Seminyak, then you’re going to love the outdoor pool; at a large 24 meters in length, it’s perfect for lap swimming, making sure you don’t put on any unwanted kilos. The pool stretches out from the main living pavilion into the expansive grounds; a manicured lawn on one side is perfect for the kids to run and play all day long. The timber deck houses plenty of sun lounges under the shade of traditional Balinese umbrellas, and at the far end of the pool, waits for a quaint traditional bale with soft cushions, perfect for a traditional massage or afternoon nap.
Living Areas
Guests will be in awe as they enter the antique timber doors of the entrance of the villa and immediately enter the main living pavilion. The pavilion features a traditional thatched roof, soaring ceilings showcase beautiful exposed natural timbers, a huge built-in L-shaped sofa with plush white cushions that provide views out to the pool, and a fully stocked bar with stools are great spots for lots of fun and festivities. There’s a large timber dining table to cater for up to 10 guests, and the villa’s chef is well known for his modern cuisine specialties; the presentation is exceptional. A fully equipped gym is air-conditioned and packed with cardio machines and weight stations for the most discerning of fitness fanatics.

The bedrooms are located down one side of the pool, offering great views through the large sliding glass doors and plenty of privacy for each individual room. The rooms feature king-size bedding, plush white linens, rich timber floors and are fully air-conditioned. Each room has a safety box, Apple TV, Cable TV, Satellite TV and DVD player. The en-suites offer the ultimate bathing experience with huge terrazzo soaking tubs set amidst tropical courtyard gardens, monsoon showers and twin vanities.

The staff are extremely pleasant, very well trained and well versed in the finer arts of providing exceptional hospitality. Consisting of a concierge, housekeeper, chef, driver and security personnel, your every need will be taken care of. Guests are sure to enjoy the continental breakfast prepared daily by the villa staff, and the chef is famous for his exceptional modern cuisine. There is a car and driver on hand for up to 6 guests at once should you wish to explore the island.

Cafes and restaurants. Some of the best cafes to try out in Seminyak are Cornerhouse for some casual dining, Revolver Coffee, BAKED, Metis, Sisterfields or perhaps treat the kids to burgers at Grill’d or BossMan.
Day Spas. For the ladies, make your way to Spring Day Spa or Jari Menari days spas (all within walking distance) to get your hair and nails done and have a Balinese massage. Also, try Rob Peetoom or Sundari Day Spa in Petitenget,
Travelling with kids? Take them to Waterbom Bali, which is nearby in Kuta, which will keep them entertained on the variety of water slides. You might even like to take them for a fun day 0of surfing at Seminyak Beach, where you can hire boards and instructors by the hour.
Beach Clubs. Once sunset comes around, make your way to Double Six Beach for some cocktails, cold Bintangs and a meal at any one of the beach clubs. Get here early as the beach area near La Plancha gets very busy. Grab a bean bag on the beach and enjoy one of the best sunsets in Bali. Even better, why not rent your own private cabana at the new mega beach club Atlas Beach Fest in Berawa or head to the famous Finns? Closer by, make sure you visit KU DE TA or Mari Beach House in Batu Belig.
Want to party? Start the night off at The Champagne Bar or The Forge on Eat Street for pre-dinner drinks. Then it’s off to Motel Mexicola for tacos, tequila and lots of fun. Continue the party at ShiShi or La Favela, where you can dance till dawn or a nightcap at Potato Head Beach Club before heading back to the villa.

Loved the location of this villa - so handy and convenient for our family holiday. Kids had a fabulous time playing in the pool and we enjoyed just lazing around and soaking up the wonderful ambiance. This was our first time staying in a villa in Bali as we generally stayed in hotels around Legian and Seminyak. But after a week spent at Ku Besar we are hooked. It's villa life for us. A highlight was those fab breakfasts prepared for us every day by the staff who were so friendly. We have already booked next years holiday.

What an amazing villa - ticks all the right boxes. We travel to Bali at least twice a year from Singapore and will make this our 'go to' villa from now on. Rooms were large, clean and very modern and the pool area was exactly what we like.

Villa Ku Beasr was really quiet as it was situated at the end of a peaceful lane way, so there was little or no traffic - really peaceful at night! Shops and restaurants were a 5 minute easy walk. What a fantastic location. As soon as we started discovering the area we couldn't believe how lucky we were to get this villa.
Our Villa staff Nyoman, Made & Elsla were lovely and made our stay even more pleasurable with their happy and friendly nature and willingness to engage with us and make sure we didn't need anything.
As first timers to holidaying in a villa this was way way better than we had ever imagined a holiday to be. We will be coming back next year.

Spent 10 days with the children and thoroughly enjoyed Villa Ku Besar - it's got everything for the family and the location was excellent - close to Double Six Beach for sunset drinks and long walks. The pool and garden area was lovely and the staff were super friendly. Would definitely come back next year.
