Villa Arte has a beautiful outdoor space with a spacious manicured lawn where the kids can run freely; however, the crowning jewel is the crystal clear outstretched lap pool, which begins its journey in the open-air lounge and leads out into the garden.

Living Areas

Guests immediately enter the villa into the open-plan living area designed so they can relax on the ample built-in sofa and enjoy the views down the length of the pool and gardens. The living spaces blend contemporary and traditional Indonesian elements with furnishings and decorative pieces from around the archipelago. There is a generous dining space with an attached galley-style kitchen with plenty of appliances should you like to do your own cooking. There is a large flat-screen TV with a cozy sitting area for guests to gather in the evenings for some relaxing viewing on cable TV.

5 Bedrooms with air-con

The villa boasts 5 elegant bedroom suites with air-con and open-air bathrooms where you can enjoy bathing under your rain shower. The master suite opens directly onto the pool area with a king-size bed, satellite TV with DVD player and a separate private study; this can be converted to a fourth bedroom. Guest suites also provide premium king-size bedding, of which one interconnects with the master suite and the second guest suite is located within its own private area featuring a kitchenette.

Around Villa Arte, Seminyak (near Double Six Beach & Bintang Supermarket)

This villa offers guests a wonderfully central Seminyak location just off Jalan Raya Seminyak and Jalan Camplung Tanduk, which brings you straight to Seminyak Beach in front of Gado-Gado, a great fine dining restaurant with an extensive wine menu.

Walk along the beachfront footpath to La Plancha and sit back in a bean bag on the sand as you welcome a magical Bali sunset. This is where everyone comes for sunset cocktails and a few cold Bintangs. You can have dinner here as there are loads of cafes and restaurants along the beach area. Along Jalan Raya, Seminyak Bintang Supermarket will cater to all your grocery shopping, and there are ATMs and SIM cards here as well. Seminyak’s famous Eat Street is a 15-minute stroll or just 2 minutes by scooter. This has many places to take the whole family for a reasonably priced meal. Make sure you visit the famous MamaSan or Sisterfields for a great family meal.

Cafes. For those who love their coffee, there are some fabulous cafes close by where you can also take the kids for a bite to eat. Head to Shelter Cafe, Moka Cafe, Cornerhouse (  family-friendly )  or the popular Revolver along Jalan Kayu Aya.

Beach Clubs. For a treat, go to Ku De Ta, Potato Head or the new mega beach club Atlas Beach Fest and spend the day by the pool sipping cocktails, listening to great music and enjoying the fabulous views. You can easily get there on foot or rent a motorbike. There are also loads of taxis passing the main streets to take you there. Other beach clubs worth visiting are 707 & Cafe Del; Mar in Batu Belig, Mrs Sippy in Petitenget and Finns in Berawa.

Travelling with the kids? Take them to the Waterbom Bali in Kuta for a fun day out on the waterslides or perhaps a surf lesson at Seminyak Beach, where you can hire boards and an instructor by the hour.  For dinner, there are burgers at Grill’d, BossMan or Johnny Rockets, and make sure you go to the famous Made’s Warung for an Indonesian feast while they watch a traditional Legong Dance show. Follow this up with dessert at the Yoghurt Republic or handmade chocolate at Krakakoa. For the toddlers, there are treats at Candylicious at Seminyak Village.

Fancy Partying? Start the night at Red Carpet for some pre-dinner cocktails; then it’s off to Motel Mexicola for tequila, tacos, fun times and tequila. Continue the party at La Favela or Shi Shi, where you can dance till dawn or finish the evening off with a nightcap at Potato Head  Beach Club or Gado Gado (at Double Six Beach) on the beach or Vin+ before returning to the villa.

Ladies can get their hair and nails done and have a dreamy Balinese massage at Prana Spa, Therapy, Jari Menari or The Blow Bar along Eat Street, which is easy to get to.  Follow this up with an afternoon browsing the art galleries, homewares & jewellery stores in the chic Oberoi area.
