The living room

The villa features a large, lofty living space with an extra high ceiling and full-length glass doors and walls to maximize the garden and pool views. Bamboo lamps, custom-made teak furniture, hand-picked art, rugs, plants and elegant curtains – the living room is styled beautifully! Modern amenities for entertainment are also catered for. There is a billiard table, and there is a TV movie room with AC and a projector screen.

The Backyard Bingin boasts a large turquoise swimming pool with Roman steps on 3 sides and a built-in jacuzzi. Luxurious sunbeds and parasols are placed on the poolside stone terrace, and the garden also boasts a large covered bale (gazebo) for cocktail sipping and relaxing out in the sun. There is an oversized sofa, and there is a bar with high chairs. Did we mention the large outdoor dining table for alfresco dining? Time for a BBQ feast on a lazy afternoon! Kids are free to run around in the expansive garden. It’s also perfect for events and celebrations. No shortage of space!

The Backyard Bingin has 7 spacious air-conditioned bedrooms. 5 of these rooms are tucked in the main house – the 3-level colonial-style luxury mansion – and each of them boasts ocean views to take your breath away every morning again. The 2 master suites are tucked in private pavilions in the garden. The master rooms are huge (80 sqm), and they are furnished with canopied king-size four-poster beds. Every bedroom has a private en-suite bathroom.

Fabulous location!

The Backyard is located in the pristine Bukit Peninsula (Uluwatu), and the nearest beach is Bingin Beach, which is great for swimming, surfing and sunsets. The beach area at Bingin is a great place to hang out for the day, with loads of great cafes on the beach where you can chill out and watch the surfers. The best is Kelly’s Warung, and this is where everyone goes for their famous smoothies and a few sunset Bintangs.

Other fantastic beaches to be found near the villa are the famous Padang Padang Beach, Thomas Beach, Dreamland, Suluban Beach and Balangan. You can go for sunset drinks at Single Finn, Savaya Day Club, Sundays Beach Club or El Kabron. Pay a visit to the Uluwatu Temple, have a feast at Jimbaran Bay and go on little day trips to Pandawa, Nusa Dua and Seminyak. You’ll have a blast!
