Best Villas for Popular Bali Holidays

Planning a Bali beach holiday, epic adventure, ricefield escape, shopping or party holiday?

We have options!

Do you need a family villa where your kids will have a fantastic time or a swanky designer villa with a private chef, butler and all the little niceties that will make your stay ever-so-dreamy? Perhaps you are looking for a wedding villa to say “I do” in paradise or a romantic private villa for a Bali honeymoon? We understand that some special occasions call for a gorgeous clifftop villa with dramatic ocean views, while other Bali holidays are best spent staying in town at a villa near the beach, where you can pop down to the ocean for surfing and quality time with your family on the beach.

We have been organising memorable Bali holidays since 2005, and we look forward to helping you make an outstanding trip to Bali, too! Whether you are after an indulgent tropical getaway or an adventurous sightseeing holiday, we have a huge range of villas around the island to suit your tastes, style, and, of course, budget. From wow-worthy villas in Seminyak and private abodes in Canggu to the most incredible clifftop or beachfront villas in Berawa, Uluwatu and Sanur, Bali’s villa accommodation options are seriously next level. Take your pick because you’ll be bowled over by the level of luxury you can get on your next Bali holiday for a lot less than you think.

Bali holidays FAQs

What are the most popular areas in Bali for a holiday?

The most popular holiday destinations in Bali are in the southern part of the island, stretching from Uluwatu to Kuta and Legian through to Seminyak and all the way up to Canggu and Seseh.

Obviously, each area has its charm and unique characteristics that set it apart, and holidaymakers should know this before booking their hotel or villa. For example:

Seminyak is great for families or groups who want to shop, party at beach clubs, eat at restaurants along the famous Eat Street, or go to day spas.

Canggu: Now one of the most crowded and popular parts of Bali, Canggu is renowned for its cafe culture, surfing, hectic traffic, fabulous restaurants, the hippest beach clubs in Bali and shopping. And, yes, it’s also famous for the Canggu shortcut, which is dotted with tattoo studios, surf shops, restaurants and even a Padel tennis centre.

Uluwatu: If you are a surfer, are coming with the kids and want a beach-style holiday, enjoy beach clubs, or love to hang out in hip cafes, then Uluwatu is the area for you.

Berawa: This is a perfect area as it’s next to Seminyak and Canggu, with many cafes, restaurants, fabulous beach clubs, lovely holiday villas,  and shopping.

Ubud: In central Bali, this is the ideal zen escape for those who want their holiday villa among the ricefields or with jungle views, hit the yoga studios and vegan cafes, or take the kids to the Monkey Forest.

What are the best things to do on a Bali holiday?

Bali is an island with so many fantastic things to do on holiday. From surfing, whitewater rafting, cooking classes, yoga, hiking, sightseeing, cafe hopping, and even going to beach clubs, Bali is jam-packed with things to do. And in terms of accommodation, nothing beats your staying in a private Bali villa.

What are the best Bali beach holidays?

If you’re after a beach holiday, Bali is a fantastic destination for a salty seaside break. With miles of beaches perfect for swimming, surfing, beach walks, scuba diving and watching those magical sunsets, your time in Bali will be mainly spent on the beach or in the ocean. There are so many beaches to choose from, and below are just a few where you can dip your toes in the warm tropical waters.

Seminyak Beach is great for surfing, sunbaking, and hanging out at some of the best beach clubs, like KU DE TA, Mano Beach House, and Potato Head, for sunset cocktails. Most tourists end up staying in Seminyak because of the number of fantastic  Seminyak villas within easy walking distance of the beach.

Canggu Beach encompasses some of Bali’s most famous beaches, such as Batu Belig, Batu Bolong, Old Man’s, and Echo Beach. All these beaches have surf, sunbaking areas, and fantastic beach clubs like La Brisa, The Lawn, and Finns.

Double Six Beach is one of the most popular tourist beaches in southern Bali. It is excellent for surfing, swimming, and sitting at the cafes and bars on the beach. Make sure you check out Cocoon Beach Club and the popular La Plancha.

Uluwatu Beach is the ultimate surfer’s paradise, with famous breaks like Bingin, Uluwatu, Padang, and Dreamlands. These beaches are a magnet for some of the hottest surfers in Bali, but if you’re not into surfing, these beaches are great for sunbaking, swimming (watch out for those currents and low tides), and gorgeous sunsets.

How much does a Bali holiday cost?

Bali holiday costs can vary depending on the type of holiday you want. A luxury holiday villa will be more expensive than a family or budget villa, impacting the holiday price. Most families coming to Bali for a week should budget around AUD 3500 for accommodation and AUD 3000 for food, alcohol and entertainment for a family of 4. Again, these prices are just an average, and you can trim these costs if you’re on a budget.

How far in advance should I plan my Bali holiday?

Many villas in Bali will be booked 12 months in advance, especially in popular areas like Seminyak, Canggu or Uluwatu. If they are on the beach or have clifftop views, this might extend to 18-24 months if you want to travel during high or peak seasons and Australian holidays. So, give yourself at least three months for the planning and booking process for villa accommodation. Flights are another story, and you can generally grab a ticket at the last minute, but most people who like planning will get better deals if you book your tickets well in advance.

Are your Bali holidays refundable?

We require a 50% deposit to secure your villa booking, so if you decide to cancel the Bali holiday booking, you will lose the deposit depending on how close you are to the arrival date. We encourage you to view our terms and conditions for clarification.
