Sisterfields Restaurant in Seminyak

For those of you who happen to be in one of our Bali Villas in Seminyak, you simply have to try going for lunch or dinner to Sisterfields.

You really can’t miss it. It’s right opposite Seminyak Village and it’s the restaurant with the most activity.

It’s non stop action from the moment it opens its doors and the reason for the is the food; it’s that good! If you are a foodie or coming to Bali on holiday with the family it’s a great place to relax, enjoy the vibrant ambience and have some great, down to earth food that’s also really well priced.

The menu is fairly extensive and covers everything from healthy salads, jumbo-sized burgers to pasta, fries and the usual fruit juices. There is an indoor and outdoor area which can hold a lot of people but we would recommend making a booking especially if you planning on having dinner on Friday or Saturday nights. Casual pop-ins are fine as well but if you have to wait why not try one of their delicious smoothies. Sisterfields was probably the first of this type of casual Aussie style eatery in the Seminyak area and it has definitely left its mark as one of the most popular places in Seminyak.

Most people tend to find this place simply by following the crowds and the noise but if you happen to be staying in a villa or hotel just ask the manager or the concierge where it is and they will happily organise transport. Be prepared to be absolutely wowed by having a meal at Sisterfields.

The place is so popular that the owners have been very entrepreneurial and have opened up another cafe/restaurant/bar right next door and called it: You look hot in a bikini. Odd sounding name but it seems to fit in nicely with the relaxed and friendly vibe that the place emanates. It sets a very different tone to its next-door neighbour and the food is on a different scale altogether with a more upmarket fine dining experience. Having said that there is still the same noise and buzz of Sisterfields. The Sisterfields Instagram app is the best to see their full menu.

We find that it’s a good idea ( especially if your coming with the family and there are kids) is to have your lunch or dinner here and then pop over to Seminyak Village for a gelato dessert. This kind of breaks the experience up and as a tourist, you get to see some other points of interest in the Eat St area. Dishes we highly recommend are the Dirty Cheeseburger,  Vietnamese Poached Chicken Salad and who could resist the smashed avocado. Most of the patrons are local and are staying in villas nearby so if you are worried about missing out on a table just get the villa manager to make the call and get you a reservation. We feel that one meal is not enough here and you will probably be coming back daily like everyone else seems to.
