Living Areas
Large bi-folding doors open directly onto the pool deck so you guests can move easily from the lounge area straight to the pool and garden. The living areas are air-conditioned and provide plenty of space for guests to relax in front of the TV and dine together at the dinner table, which seats up to 10 guests. The kitchen has all the modern appliances and utensils you will need to whip up anything from a small snack to a three-course sit-down dinner.

The villa is located off Jalan Dhyanapura and is just a short walk from both the beach and Bintang Supermarket, where you can buy fresh produce, alcohol, lots of snacks and imported items.
Cafes & restaurants. If you love your coffee, you are in luck as there are many great cafes all within walking distance where you can also take the kids for a bite to eat. Make sure you visit Cornerhouse (family-friendly), Shelter Cafe, Moka Coffee, Sea Circus, Revolver & Starbucks.
Travelling with kids? Take them to Waterbom Bali for a fun day out on the waterslides or perhaps a surf lesson at Double Six Beach, where you can hire boards and instructors by the hour. You can take them to the famous Warung Made for authentic Indonesian food or burgers at BossMan, Grill’d, Johnny Rockets or Sisterfields near Seminyak Village for dinner. Treat the kids to dessert at Candylicious or the best gelato in Bali at Gusto in Kerobokan.
Beach Clubs. Make sure you visit Double Six beach at sunset, as this is where all the action happens. Grab a bean bag on the sand (our favourite is La Plancha) with a cold Bintang and enjoy the best sunset in Bali. Other beach clubs worth visiting are KU DE TA or Potato Head in Seminyak, Cafe Del Mar in Batu Belig or the new mega beach club, Atlas Beach Fest in Berawa.
Day Spas. For the ladies, there are many day spas near the villa where you can get your nails or hair done & a dreamy Balinese massage. Head to Jari Menari, GLO Day Spa along Eat Street, The Shampoo Lounge or Spring Day Spa (at the rooftop of Seminyak Village) for the best treatments. You can also visit the famous Rob Peetoom or Sundari Day Spas in Petitenget.
Shopping. Follow this up by browsing the art galleries, jewellery & homewares stores in the popular Oberoi area or bargain with locals for Bali souvenirs in Legian. For more shopping options, hop into a Blue Bird taxi and go to the Kartika Plaza area in Kuta, where large shopping centres like Lippo & Discovery Shopping Mall exist.
Fancy partying? Start the night off at Red Carpet along Jalan Kayu Aya for some pre-dinner cocktails; then it’s off to Motel Mexicola or Lacalaca for tequila, tacos and Bintangs. Continue the party at La Favela or Shi Shi, where you can dance till dawn.
Sightseeing. From the villa, you can easily explore other parts of the island. Make sure you visit Tanah Lot Temple (for sunset photos), Ubud’s famous Monkey Forest Temple, Uluwatu Temple, Kuta Beach for sunset Bintangs and souvenir shopping and Canggu’s popular Batu Bolong area.

Stayed at Gembira for 8 days and had the most fabulous time with the kids. Location was perfect; close to Seminyak's main shopping area which also gave us many options for going out to dinner at night.

WOW factor villa. Private and really quiet - you wouldn't know that your in Seminyak. This villa ticks al the right boxes for us; location, price, service, facilities, wonderful pool and great staff. Oh, yes the rooms were also spacious and very comfortable. We will be back next year.

We work in a law firm in Singapore and decided to bring the staff on a 4 day getaway as a treat. We chose Villa Gembira because the photos looked fabulous. When we spoke to the reservation staff they really sold it to us. Amazing is all I can say. The team were immediately taken back by the sheer beauty of the villa. From the moment we were collected at the airport by Made (our driver) through to the warm Balinese greeting the holiday just got better.
I was especially happy with the villa presentation and the way it was meticulously maintained and kept. Loved every second and we will be back!

Took my parents for their 50th wedding anniversary, and they loved the tranquillity of the villa. So much better than a hotel. The staff were great and organised a little party for us with Balinese dancers - we didn't even ask them to do this - that's how nice they were.

The bedrooms were all particularly spacious and very clean. They all had a TV which was great if we wanted to go to our rooms for some downtime. The kitchen was fully equipped, and because we came as a group, we did use it a fair bit to make meals and snacks whenever we were hungry. The local supermarket was nearby, so we could easily stock up on anything we needed.
The swimming pool was fabulous, and we spent days just laying around, chilling out and catching up on some reading. There was a poolside Bali-style hut where we could escape the sun as well for an afternoon nap.
I have been to Bali about 5 times and have tried various villas, but I must say that Villa Gembira was one of the best.
We will definitely be back.

Couldn't believe how central Villa Gembira was to everything. Easy to get to Bintang supermarket to get all our villa supplies, food and snacks for the children. The beach was also within walking distance. Fantastic staff and really happy times.

Spent 7 nights at Villa Gembira with a broader family, and it was our first villa accommodation after visiting Bali more than 20 times for my wife. A perfect spot with an 800-meter walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. The space was lovely and quiet and was always well-maintained. Staff were awesome with nothing ever a problem, and the Xmas Day spread they put on was so good that most of us couldn’t eat dinner. Highly recommend this place."

We just got back from Bali, Villa Gembira. There were 8 of us. We had an amazing time there. We were greeted by Gede and Quai, who were the best. Quai cooked our delicious breakfast each morning and was so helpful, and Gede organised our daily activities and anything we wanted to do. Now for the villa, it was absolutely beautiful. The beds were huge and so comfortable. The bathrooms were huge. Showers fantastic. The grounds were amazing, enough pool chairs and the pool was so clean. 24/7 security. 5 min walk to Bintang supermarket through the alleyways of Seminar. We had a scooter, which Gede organised, which made it easier to get around. The beach was a good 15-minute walk. In saying that, taxis are cheap (only bluebird taxis). Gede organised our driver from bugis villas, who was very nice.
We could not fault our stay and thank you to the staff, who made our holiday easy.
