Cafes and restaurants. If you like your coffee, there are many places to grab your daily coffee hit or go with the kids for a bite. Make sure you go to Cornerhouse, Shelter Cafe, Los Jeffes, Monsieur Spoon (pastries, coffee and croissants), Bo and Bun (top Vietnamese cuisine), Ryoshi (for great Japanese food), Sisterfields (family-friendly), Breakfast Club, BossMan (for great burgers), Batik, The Library and the famous Revolver on Eat Street for the best coffee in Bali.

Like to party? Start the night at The Champagne Bar, The Goat or The Forge for pre-dinner drinks; then it’s off to Motel Mexicola for tacos, tequila and Bintangs. Continue the party at Shi Shi, La Favela or perhaps the new mega beach club Atlas Beach Fest in Berawa. There are also many beach clubs nearby where you can enjoy the day lounging by the beach and enjoy the best sunsets in Bali over cool drinks. Make sure you visit Ku De Ta, Potato Head or La Plancha at Double Six Beach.

Travelling with kids? Take them to Waterbom Bali in Kuta for a fun day with the family on the waterslides. They might even like a surf lesson on Double Six Beach, where you can hire boards and instructors by the hour. Great day trips include Tanah Lot Temple, Monkey Forest in Ubud and shopping on Jalan Kayu Aya or Eat Street. For dinner, they’ll love Naughty Nuri’s, which has fantastic ribs and burgers or a traditional Indonesian meal at Mades Warung. Finally, treat them to gelato at Gusto in Keroboak or yummy sweets at Candylicious at Seminyak Village for dessert.

Sightseeing. From the villa, you can easily explore other parts of the island. Make sure you visit Tanah Lot Temple (for sunset photos), Ubud’s famous Monkey Forest Temple,  Uluwatu Temple, Kuta Beach for souvenir shopping and Canggu’s popular Batu Bolong area.
