Outdoor & Pool Areas

The element of water is certainly a key feature of the garden at Ziva a Residence, a raised infinity-edged pool will certainly keep you refreshed amid the warm Bali sun and there are waterways with stepping stones and a kid’s pool as well. A huge steel-framed façade covers the main living pavilion, giving the exterior a minimalist design touch, and there are plenty of manicured lawn areas for the kids to play in between swims.

The downstairs living areas look directly out toward the extensive tropical gardens, packed with the latest amenities such as a huge, smart flat-screen TV with loads of satellite channels, excellent Wi-Fi and a kitchen that is both sleek and very stylish whilst being very functional; guests are welcome to use the kitchen or ask your personal chef to take care of your catering needs. The 3 bedrooms will accommodate up to 6 guests, with two bedrooms providing king-sized beds and the third room providing twin singles. The bedrooms and en-suites are extensive and minimalist in design, with huge rain showers and built-in soaking tubs for an enjoyable bathing experience.

Upon arrival, the villa’s English-speaking manager will greet you and give you a tour of the villa and its facilities. Should you need any additional assistance day or night, the villa manager will be contactable by phone. Any child care, in-house spa and transport requirements can be taken care of by the staff.

Ziva a Residence is tucked down a series of private laneways offering peace and quiet, yet a 10 min stroll will have you on the doorstep of the island’s most famous beach club, Ku De Ta, which is great for breakfast, lazing by the pool with cocktails with both casual and fine dining.

Nearby is Seminyak Square, the central hub of Seminyak, with a supermarket, sports bar, cafes, family-friendly restaurants and much more. Next door is Seminyak Village shopping centre for some upscale boutique shopping, and across the street is Sisterfields.

For the ladies, there are lots of day spas nearby where you can get your hair and nails done, plus have one of those Balinese massages you’ve always wanted. Head to Prana, Sundari, the upmarket Therapy day spa or the popular Blow Bar along Jalan Kayu Aya. Follow this up by browsing the art galleries, homewares & jewellery stores in the chic Oberoi area. For more shopping options, hop into a Blue Bird taxi and head to Legian, where you can bargain with locals for souvenirs, or the Kartika Plaza area in Kuta, which has large shopping malls.

Travelling with kids? Take them to Waterbom Bali ( Asia’s premier water theme park ) or The Finns Recreation Club, where there are waterslides, ten-pin bowling and a massive indoor trampoline centre called Bounce. They’ll also like a surf lesson at Double Six Beach, where you can hire boards and instructors by the hour. For dinner, there are burgers at Grill’d, Sisterfields, BossMan or Johnny Rockets, and you can’t go past the best gelato in Bali at Gusto in Kerobokan for dessert treats. Even better, take them to Candylicious at Seminyak Village for the most amazing lollies.

If you love your coffee, you are in luck, as the villa is close to some amazing cafes where you can get your daily coffee hit and take the kids for a bite to eat. For the vegans, head to the super popular Kynd Community, or go to the family-friendly Sea Circus, Monsieur Spoon (for great croissants & pastries ), Little Ingka & Kim Soo. There is even a Starbucks nearby.
