Stylish and exotic open-plan living

Villa Boa features a contemporary design inspired by the tropics, with bright colours and lush green plants in the open-concept living space. On one side, there is a solid wood dining table and on the other side, there is a comfy sofa sitting area with a satellite TV and a modern kitchen with a bar and stools. The living room is decorated with oriental artifacts and the feel is sleek and exotic at the same time.

The garden features stone and bamboo walls with lush tropical greenery growing all around, like a lovely oasis in the heart of booming Canggu. In the middle of the garden glistens the private swimming pool (16 x 4 metres) and it’s got a large shallow platform for little kids to play in the water. Around the pool, there are sunbeds, beach chairs and large parasols for sunbathing and chilling out in the sun or in the shade. There is also a pergola-shaded outdoor lounge set and the villa boasts a rooftop terrace from where you can see the ocean and the dazzling sunset. Bring a bottle of wine and prepare to get awestruck by the beauty of Bali.

Villa Boa houses 3 bedrooms, all fully air-conditioned, styled individually and equipped with satellite televisions. Tropical wallpaper, beautiful rugs and quality beds, much thought has been given to the design of these bedrooms and all of them are spacious and comfortable. The master bedroom is adjoined to a large terrace with ocean views—a lovely spot to have your coffee in the morning. In the en-suite bathroom, you can enjoy a warm bath or shower before sleep. Wonderful! The other 2 bedrooms come with rain showers and separate toilets in the en-suite bathrooms. Deluxe toiletries are catered for.

The location could not be any better, just steps away from the beach in Canggu. Which beach in Canggu? We are talking about Batu Belig Beach here, close to Cafe Del Mar Beach Club, Finn’s Recreation Club, Canggu Deli, Canggu Station ( where you can stock up on your villa supplies) and many cafes and restaurants.

Travelling with kids? Take them to Finns Recreation Club, where there are waterslides, ten-pin bowling and a huge in-door trampoline centre called Bounce. They’ll also like a surf lesson at Batu Belig beach, where you can hire boards and instructors by the hour. For a fun day out, take them to the famous Monkey Forest Temple in Ubud or perhaps sunset photos at the holy Hindu Tanah Lot Temple on the water. For dinner, there are burgers and ribs at Wild Hog and an authentic Indonesian meal at Mades Warung.

Day Spas. For the ladies, there are loads of amazing day spas nearby where you can get your hair and nails done & have one of those dreamy Balinese massages. For the best treatments, head to Think Pink Nails in Batu Belig or Rob Peetoom & Sundari Day Spa in Petitenget.

Shopping. And, if you want to shop, Canggu has many shopping options where you can buy clothes, jewellery, homewares & those must-have Bali souvenirs. For more shopping options, hop into a Blue Bird Taxi and make your way into Legian, where you can bargain with locals for souvenirs, or the Kartika Plaza area in Kuta, which has large shopping centres like Lippo & Discovery Shopping Mall.

Fancy partying? Start the night off at Potato Head Beach Club or  Cafe Del Mar for some pre-dinner cocktails as you watch the sunset, and then it’s off to Motel Mexicola or Lacalaca for tacos, tequila and Bintang. Continue the party at La Favola or ShiShi, where you can dance till dawn, or finish up at Old Man’s or Finns at Batu Belig for a nightcap before returning to the villa.
