Outdoor & Pool Areas

The villa infinity pool is what holiday dreams are made of; situated on a pre-existing rice paddy, you can hang on the infinity edge and draw in the view as the rice terraces fall away deep into the valley. Colourful red parasols shade those resting on the poolside sunbeds, and an adjacent gazebo/bale provides shade as well as an amazing view.

Living Areas

The villa living and dining areas are housed within the same pavilion, which is sometimes referred to as a Wantilan locally. This fully open-air space with its exposed beams, thatched ceilings, polished cement floors and an array of ornaments and art from the local area all fit perfectly to create a rustic yet refined setting. From here, the views are just as good as you dine at the 10-seater  dining table while meals are prepared in the modern kitchen by your personal chef. Guests can also enjoy the comforts of the cinema room, play a game of billiards or pamper one’s self in the spa treatment room.

7 Spacious bedrooms

The villa’s bedrooms truly are sanctuaries of peace, comfort and relaxation. Highlighted by a rustic design theme; natural timber floors, soaring thatched ceilings and private terraces with amazing views. All bedrooms are air-conditioned and six of the seven rooms have King size beds except one, with large twin single beds. The crowning jewel of these rooms would have to be the free-standing soaking tubs, positioned right in front of huge bay windows for a bathing experience like no other.

The villa has a warm and friendly team of expertly trained staff to the total care of all your holiday needs. For an additional fee, you can request the services of a chauffeur-driven car, nanny, private chef, spa and massage therapists and things such as pool safety fences, baby cots and high chairs.

Around Villa Kembang, Ubud (close to Ubud Central)

Ubud is renowned for the island’s cultural birthplace, a myriad of hidden and ancient Hindu temples, modern and traditional, Internationally acclaimed art galleries and fantastic restaurants such as Bridges and CasCades, where you dine in 5-star surroundings, high above deep river gauges and amid tropical rain forests. Two of the must-try casual eateries include Warung Oka famed for its traditional dish; “Babi Guling” or suckling pig and Naughty Nuris for its amazing pork and beef ribs.

Take a bicycle tour through the Campuhan rice fields and experience village life; dare yourself to go white water rafting or hang out with the monkeys at the super popular Monkey Forest. If you feel like shopping, Ubud, being a tourist hot spot, has many shopping options. From clothing, paintings, and homewares through to jewellery, those must-have Bali souvenirs – you’ll be spoiled for choice once you start looking around. Make sure you go to the Ubud markets, where local vendors sell absolutely everything.

If you fancy hanging out at a few cafes, then Ubud is the place to be. Here you’ll find loads of fantastic cafes where you can get your coffee fix and a bite to eat. Make sure you go to the famous Milk and Madu or Betelnut ( both close to the Ubud markets). To get your Instagram Bali photo take the family or your friends to the Tegallalang Rice Terraces – which is the most photographed landscape in Bali.
