Made’s Warung Berawa

Made’s Warung Berawa is a great place to go for a yummy Indonesian lunch with the kids. Formerly known as The Joglo, this family cafe in Berawa features an outdoor playground with swings and slides as well as an indoor playground where the little ones can entertain themselves for hours. The restaurant is tucked in an authentic Javanese Joglo crafted out of teak wood. There are lots of cozy little spots to sit and enjoy your meal or have some drinks.

It’s so popular that there are two BAKED stores in the Gu, one in Berawa and the other in Pererenan. Think freshly made coffee with locally sourced beans, delish brunch items, and hand-made breads. Try the creamy scrambled eggs and slices of amazingly tasty sourdough. BAKED is a great place to meet with friends and spend a couple of hours relaxing and enjoying freshly baked goodies.

Bokashi is a Japanese-style tea house and cafe in Berawa with an organic grocery shop on the ground level. This lovely tea house features a stunning Japanese design with a rustic wooden floor and tatami mats. Bokashi serves delicious single-origin teas and coffees from both Japan and Indonesia. All of their fresh produce is harvested from their local farm, and they have a zero-waste policy. Everything is elegant and esthetic at Bokashi, and they probably serve the best teas in all of Bali. A must-visit!
