Cafe Del Mar in Seminyak, Bali – make sure you come here

If you planning on a trip to Bali and want to treat yourself to something seriously special then Cafe Del Mar in Seminyak is just the ticket.

It’s actually in Batu Belig which is the northern neighbour of Seminyak but it’s OK to say it’s in Seminyak as it’s such a quick taxi ride there.

As you can see from the video no expense has been spared in creating this new mega beach club. It’s in the same family as the already established Ku De Ta, Finns and Potato Head but Cafe Del Mar seems to take the luxury level up a notch or two especially with the private suites you can hire for the day. Be prepared to take your credit card especially if you’re coming with a fairly large group or family with hungry kids or mates that like to have a few drinks. It’s as expensive as in Australia, Singapore or the USA. But so worth it!

There is a gorgeous swimming pool right on the ocean with sitting areas that you can hire out for privacy as well as that amazing sunset views your going to get from this vantage point. Others may prefer to hire their own sun loungers, day beds, cabana, pool booths or go the whole way and hire your own master suite for the day which has its own private swimming pool, en suite bathroom and is fully air-conditioned.

Yes, you can party like a rockstar here with 30 of your closest friends and it will only set you back about AUD$2500 ( min spend) – which is not bad value if you divide it up.

For those of us visiting Cafe Del Mar for the day, you can have lunch or dinner here and enjoy fab beach views as you dine on the 5-star menu. If you plan on bringing the kids, don’t stress as there are the usual pizzas and burgers to keep them happy after playing in the pool.

Cafe Del Mar will be a central part of Seminyak’s event and part scene as they will be continually bringing out new acts and DJ’s to entice the crowds & holidaymakers.  You can see the upcoming events here. The location of this beach club could not get any better. If you happen to be staying in the southern part of Bali, perhaps in a Seminyak villas or a Villa in Canggu then getting it is super easy. Most villas will be able to arrange transport to take you there and in most cases, the taxi ride will be less than 15 minutes ( depending on the traffic). If you planning of being here for the sunset get here early as the roads will get busy as everyone wants to do the same thing!
