Villa Mia is located in the beautiful and well-known area of Canggu. There are 3 beaches very close by, Berawa, Seminyak, and Batu Belig Beach. Both are very popular and have places to eat and shop. If you are into surfing, want to have an early morning dip, or want to laze on an uncrowded beach, then Berawa and Batu Belig are just what you’ve been looking for. Head back to the villa after a quick ocean swim and stop at the many cafes nearby, such as Folie, Cafe Organic, Betelnut or Crate.
You are also close to the Canggu Station (a great Deli) and Popular Supermarket, which has all the provisions you will need to take back to the villa to feed the family. Bottle Avenue is nearby, where you can buy wine, spirits & beer.
Travelling with kids? Take them to the Finns Recreation Club, which is close by. They will love the water slides, the huge in-door trampoline centre called Bounce and ten-pin bowling. For a fun day with the family, visit Waterbom Bali in Kuta, Asia’s premier theme park. They might even like a surf lesson at Old Man’s, where you can hire boards & instructors by the hour. For dinner, take them to Warung Tiga on Jalan Nelayan for some Indonesian food, BB52 for burgers or perhaps Luigis Pizza next to the famous Deus ex Machina. Follow this up with some Al Bacio or Gaya gelato near Echo Beach.
Beach clubs. For a treat, make sure you go to Old Man’s or The Lawn for sunset cocktails and a few ice-cold Bintangs. This area is super popular, and you’ll love the music, ambience and, of course, the sensational beach views. You can take the kids here for the day as there is a pool at The Lawn. Other beach clubs worth visiting are La Brisa, Cafe Del Mar and the new Atlas Beach Fest in Berawa.
Fancy Partying? Start the night off at Finns Beach Club for a few pre-dinner drinks. Then, it’s off to Motel Mexicola for tacos and tequila. Continue the party at Mason’s back room, SandBar or Mejan, where you can party till late.
Gyms & yoga. If you want to keep up your yoga, there are some fabulous yoga studios close by with daily classes for all levels. Head to The Practice, Samadi and Pranava yoga. For gym enthusiasts on Jl Raya Canggu, head to Bull Gym or SOMA or Nirvana Strength and Bali MMA.
Day Spas. For the ladies, there are lots of upmarket day spas nearby where you can get your hair and nails done and have a dreamy Balinese massage. For the best treatments, think Pink Nails and Rob Peetoom. On Jalan Batu Bolong, you have the famous Spring Day Spa; on Jl Pantai Berawa, there are JAMU and Flow Day Spas.
Shopping. Canggu has many shopping options for homewares, souvenirs, jewellery, artwork and clothes. Head to Jalan Batu Bolong or Jalan Linjong, where there are many shops. You can also head to Seminyak’s Oberoi area, which is jam-packed with shops.
Sightseeing. From the villa, you can easily explore other parts of the island. Ensure you visit Tanah Lot Temple (for sunset photos), Ubud’s famous Monkey Forest Temple, Uluwatu Temple, Kuta Beach and Canggu’s popular Batu Bolong area.

What a gorgeous villa. Surprising how spacious it was. This was our first time staying in Canggu as we usually stay in Seminyak, but let me tell you that from now on Canggu is our 'go to' Bali destination. Villa was meticulous and the staff made our stay even better. Can't wait to come back here again next year.

I cannot recommend this Villa highly enough.
The villa itself is beautifully presented with a fantastic layout. We were travelling with our 15yr old twins, so having the two bedroom suites positioned across the lawn with their own ensuite's and entrances was perfect. The pool was divine.
Villa Mia is a 5 minute walk to Finns Beach Club, 5 minute walk in the other direction to Fins Recreation Club (formally Canggu Club), and just around the corner from Central Canggu (supermarket) and well known restaurants such as Savage and MyWarung.
Villa Mia was certainly a delight to spend our last 5 days in Bali, but what made it wonderful was the staff. I have to thank Villa manager Made who couldn't have been more helpful with his local knowledge and hospitality, also the delightful Miss Dewi. Miss Dewi we adored you. You are a very dedicated hard working young lady who we cannot wait to see again on our return.

Absolutely stunning villa in a great location
Villa Mia goes beyond expectation. The rooms are super-generous and beautifully appointed, while the outdoor pool was absolute Heaven!! I simply can't fault this wonderful villa. The staff, Made and Dewey, were so kind, and Dewey took impeccable care of myself and the villa.
I've stayed a number of times in Bali, but this is the place I will be recommending to anyone thinking of visiting. In fact, a friend who has been living in Bali for five years and seen many villas popped by one day and was just 'wow' about it!! She also said she will be recommending Villa Mia from now on.
In-between Canggu and Seminyak (about 15 mins each way by cab), there are great restaurants, cafés and a supermarket just a minute away on foot. The beach (and Finn's Beach Club) are approx. 10 minutes' walk away. I don't think I've ever felt so instantly relaxed and blissfully happy during my entire stay. Thank you so much Stefania for opening the doors to your beautiful villa. I would go back in a heartbeat. :)

From LA to here at Villa Mia
Travelling from LA to Bali, I was a little afraid to choose the wrong place....you never know!!! I choose Villa Mia, and believe me,.... a great choice!!!
Made took all my details, and starting from the airport pick-up, everything was super.
Rooms, bathrooms, garden, swimming pool....all is really well decorated and clean. The living room and the table are WOW!!! With my girlfriend, we had a really good time in that area. It is new but not far from the nightlife, shopping and even surfing areas like echo beach or brawl beach!!! Go to visit FINN'S CLUB by the way because the sunset there is super and it is only 1 minute by motorbike far from Villa Mia. Edy has been super.... we paid a small extra to have breakfast in the morning. Amazing fruit cutter!!!!

We are two couples and have been at Villa Mia and was like being in a small relaxing area of the entire Bali. The new area really chic, and elegant, with many shops, restaurants and beaches.
Everything is not far from Villa Mia. The staff, the swimming pool and the bedrooms were Super, and the living room is so relaxing and comfortable that all of us spent hours relaxing there.
We are planning to be back for sure in December...

I stayed at Villa Mia last month for 8 days with for my 50th with some friends.
A great villa where you can enjoy your holiday in peaceful surrounding but the beach was easy to walk to and getting transport was even easier as there were so many Go Jek always nearby to take us to cafes or bars.
The rooms are spacious and the beds very comfortable - modern ensuites and the furniture was also lovely.
The staff is so kind and were always happy to answer any questions we had.
