Travelling with kids? Take them to the Finns Recreation Club with water slides, ten-pin bowling, and a massive indoor trampoline centre called Bounce. They’ll also love a surf lesson at Berawa Beach, where you can hire boards and instructors by the hour. For dinner, there are the best burgers at Milk and Madu (which has a kiddies’ playground), yummy Indonesian food at Milu by Nook, loads of small takeaway stalls at Berawa Kitchen around the corner and pasta at Bottega along Jalan Pantai Berawa, which is nearby.
Cafes & restaurants: Villa Curl Curl is in the heart of Berawa, which is now a foodie hub. You are surrounded by some of Canggu’s favourite cafes and restaurants, where you can grab a quick coffee or take the kids out for a bite to eat. Make sure you go to Hungry Bird, BAKED, Sista Dumplings, the popular Copenhagen, NUDE, Matcha, Riviera Bistro for delicious Italian food and Monsieur Spoon for croissants, coffee and casual dining and lastly, RUKO for food fix after a morning surf.
