Outdoor and Pool Area
When guests enter Villa Mandalay, they are enchanted by the sense of tranquillity that engulfs the villa. Lush gardens, trees, lawns, a pond and lovely exotic flowers exist. The villa also has a beautiful swimming pool in the centre of the single-level buildings surrounding it. The villa also boasts a small golf course, so golf lovers can enjoy a lovely game right in the villa. Built atop a water feature is a bamboo structure containing a small sitting and dining area. Guests have panoramic views of the rice fields and the beach.
The Living Area
The living and dining area of Villa Mandalay is simply furnished and quite lovely. It has comfortable sofas, lovely paintings hanging on the wall and a lovely 8-person dining set. Beside the dining set is a lovely bar, so guests can sit on the bar stools and enjoy drinks with friends or family. Guests have a stunning view of the pool and the gardens from the living area.

Close to the villa is the beautiful Seseh Beach, where guests can watch amazing sunsets or dine at the restaurants nearby. If you feel like going to the popular Canggu area about 10 minutes away, there are heaps of great cafes, restaurants, yoga studios and shops to browse along Jalan Batu Bolong, which will take you all the way down to the famous Old Man’s beach, where you can watch the sunset with a cold drink.
Cafes & restaurants. There are some great places in Canggu where you can take the whole family for a bite to eat. Make sure you go to Vida, Deus ex Machina, Crate, The Lawn (for sunset cocktails), Shelter in Pererenan, Arte for pizza and Monsieur Spoon (coffee & croissants).
Day Spas. For the ladies, there are many upmarket day spas where you can get a facial, hair, and nails done. Perhaps even have one of those fabulous Balinese massages! Try MYNX on Jalan Nelayan, Goldust Beauty Lounge, AMO, Tonic Day Spa at Evho Beach, Spring Day Spa on Jalan Batu Bolong & Therapy Day Spa.
Travelling with kids? If you are coming with kids and want to keep them entertained, you can ask the villa manager to arrange transport (in your complimentary car with a driver) to Finns Recreation Club, where there are water slides, trampolines, tennis & ten-pin bowling. They’ll also like a surf lesson at Old Man’s Beach, where you can hire boards and instructors by the hour.
Shopping. Canggu has many places where you can buy clothes, jewellery, homewares and souvenirs. All you need to do is head to Jalan Batu Bolong and walk around. Make sure you also visit the Love Anchor markets, which are open every day. For more shopping options head into Seminyak’s popular Jalan Kayu Aya (Eat Street) for a huge variety of shops.

We stayed here for 10 days over the Christmas New Years period with another family ( there was 10 of us in total) and we absolutely loved every moment here.
Complete tropical bliss is how we would describe it. We were after a villa that was away from the crowds and noise of Seminyak and were lucky to find this villa ( thanks to Dewi and Ina at Bali Villa Escapes).
It was seriously private, very peaceful and in the most magnificent location over looking those fabulous rice fields in Canggu.
The bedrooms were meticulously maintained as was the entire villa by the lovely and always smiling staff and we found that there was ample space and room for everyone.
We also found that the beach and the restaurants at Batu Bolong, Canggu were less than 10 minutes away and getting there was really easy as the villa provided transport.
If you looking for a lovely and very relaxing villa holiday I would thoroughly recommend Mandalay.

Wow factor villa is all I can say. Too many gorgeous features to mention. Staff were incredible, friendly and made the best breakfasts for us ever. We spent 9 days here for my mother's 30th wedding anniversary and from the second we arrived we were pampered and looked after by the staff. Days were spent by the pool or touring the local area which was quite beautiful. There were also a few trips to Canggu and Seminyak as we had a free car and driver. An amazing villa that is highly recommended.

As frequent visitors to Bali, we were keen to try Villa Mandalay out for a week as it was recommended to us by some friends who had stayed there a few months ago. As novices to villa living (we generally stay in hotels), I must say that this was a remarkable experience, and our family is in love with the villa. We didn't want to leave. The beach location was the real highlight, but you can add the amazing pool and the fabulous drop-dead villa. Booking this again.

What an incredible villa - Canggu is definitely the best place to unwind, relax and see a much more traditional side of Bali. Lovely staff, great pool and a really restful ambiance. It's actually so much better than the photos. I can't rate this highly enough!

Villa Mandalay was everything it promised to be. From the moment we booked until our departure, all employees at Mandalay were extremely helpful and welcoming. The arrangement for check-in was very smooth, and the managers Suka, Harry and all other staff members were easily contactable and were quick to offer their assistance.
Chef Alit was superb and accommodated all our dietary requirements. Villa Mandalay was tidy, comfortable and very spacious. Our pool was surreal and made our stay very relaxing. We were a bit far from most activities, but it was very Pravin, and I would definitely recommend this villa to others :)

Spent a glamorous week here at Villa Mandalay and what a lovely villa is was. So much to rave on about: the staff, the privacy, the lovely bedrooms and the amazing beach location which the kids absolutely loved. Everything about the place was 5 star and I can't wait to return. Also, Yayuk at Bali Villa Escapes was the best and arranged the whole this for us and was so friendly - a great experience:))
