Travelling with kids? Take them to the Finns Recreation Club, which offers waterslides, ten-pin bowling and a massive indoor trampoline centre. They’ll also love a surf lesson at Seminyak Beach, where you can hire boards and instructors by the hour. For dinner, there are ribs at Wild Hog, burgers at BossMan or Grill’d opposite Seminyak Village, and for dessert, there’s gelato at Gusto in Kerobokan.

Beach Clubs. Villa Nikaia is near some of the best beach clubs in southern Bali. Make sure you stop in for sunset cocktails at KU DE TA or Potato Head, and in Batu Belig, there’s Cafe Del Mar. For a treat, head to Berawa nearby and go to the popular Finns or Atlas Beach Fest for sunset drinks or all-day lounging and grazing by the pool.

Shopping. Seminyak is the shopping heart of Bali, and the place to go is Jalan Kayu Aya, a quick taxi ride from the villa. For more shopping options, you can go to Legian or the famous Jalan Batu Bolong in Canggu Central.

Day Spas. Ladies, there are some fabulous day spas nearby where you can get your hair and nails done and have one of those dreamy Balinese massages. For the best treatments, go to Think Pink Nails nearby, or in Petitenget, there’s Rob Peetoom or Sundari Day Spa. In central Seminyak, there’s the famous Spring Day Spa, The Shampoo Lounge, and the Blow Bar on Eat Street.

Cafes and restaurants. If you love your coffee, there are loads of cafes and restaurants nearby where you can also take the kids for a bit to eat. Head to Sisterfields, Cornerhouse, MamaSan, Biku, Sea Circus or Pison.

Want to party? Start the night off at the Champagne Bar or The Forge on Eat Street. Then, head to Motel Mexicola for tacos, tequila and fun times. Continue the party at Shi Shi or La Favela, where you can dance till late.
