With lovely gardens, a stunning pool and a lovely architecturally designed building, The Layar villa is the perfect choice for a small family or a group of friends looking to stay in one of the most relaxing, luxurious, and beautiful places villas during their holiday in Bali.
Walking into the grounds of the Villa Layar, it is impossible not to get captivated by the extremely beautiful exterior. A stone path runs through the green lawns to a lovely white building with its prism-shaped roof. The villa has a beautiful outdoor pool with a wooden deck on one side. On the other side are the lush gardens with pool chairs placed under the shade trees provide. Your children can play in the shallow part of the pool or relax in the Jacuzzi.
From the poolside, guests have a great view of the open-sided living area on the first floor of the two-storey building. The living area has comfortable white sofas facing the pool and a wooden table for those outdoor dinners. Off to the side is a cozy dining set for four. Wooden stairs lead to the second level, where there is another living area where you can relax and watch TV with your family or friends.

Villa Layar has comfortable and luxurious bedrooms beautifully furnished to create perfectly relaxing spaces. Both rooms have king-sized, comfy beds and glass doors leading out to the gardens. The en suite bathrooms are also well-appointed & gorgeous. One bathroom has a rectangular tub surrounded by glass, giving a great view of the gardens. The other bathroom has an enchanting bowl-shaped tub where you can soak in the scented waters and enjoy the fact that you are on holiday in a magnificent villa.

Shopping. If you fancy some shopping, Seminyak is jam-packed with shopping options. Make your way to Seminyak Square or Seminyak Village and go from there. In Canggu, go to the famous Jalan Batu Bolong, where there are boutique shops and places to buy souvenirs.
Travelling with kids? Take them to Waterbom Bali (Asia’s best water theme park) or Double Six Beach, where they can have a surf lesson. For dinner, there are the best ribs at Naughty Nuris or burgers at Grill’d, Johnny Rockets or BossMan. For dessert, there are treats at Candylicious or yummy gelato at Gusto in Kerobokan.
Love your coffee? There are many cafes nearby where you can also take the kids for a meal. Make sure you visit Monsieur Spoon, BAKED, Cornerhouse, Sea Circus, Kim Soo, Biku, Kynd, Coffee Cartel, Batik, Dough Darlings and the super popular Revolver or Sisterfields.
Like to party? Start the night off at Red Carpet, The Goat or The Forge on Eat Street; then it’s off to Cafe Del Mar in Batu Belig for dinner and cocktails or Motel Mexiocla for tequila, tacos and lots of fun. Continue the party at La Favela or Shi Shi, where you can dance till dawn.

The Layar is a gem, and we are so glad that we found this place and especially happy that we experienced the charm, beauty and unbelievably warm hospitality of the villa staff.
The villa was spacious, and we always felt we had our privacy. It was ideally positioned close enough to Seminyak for those daily afternoon shopping trips and visits to the wonderful day spas nearby for facials and massages.
We split the cost among the 3 of us, so it was quite cheap.

Incredible service at the Layar
I could not speak highly enough of these villas. The services provided were so perfect for my family and I and especially mentioning the server Laura who learnt our names on the first day and was always so attentive to us. Her service every morning made the experience far happier and easier for us.

An unforgettable holiday!
In April we have experienced an unforgettable holiday with friends in Villa 15 of The Layar. Villa 15 is a very beautiful and almost overwhelming design villa that forms part of a luxury resort, right in the heart of Seminyak. Bali's best-known restaurants are within walking distance, as are boutiques, galleries, gourmet shops and a broad choice of other stores.
If we didn't want to eat outdoors, we could still enjoy great food all day long, with a breakfast menu that was available from 7 to 11am.
We even had the option to hire a private chef who advised a specially tailored menu for us to enjoy 'at home' in our villa.

I was extremely impressed by the Layar; it is spacious, and predominantly designed with outdoor living spaces, making it the ideal villa for our family. The attention to detail from the staff is exceptional, with daily maintenance ensuring everything is in mint condition. Could not be happier for the family as getting to Seminyak Village and our favourite Mexicola was a breeze. Tempted to come again next year.

Enjoyed our stay thoroughly and would come back for sure. A week here with the kids was perfect. From the breakfasts to the attentive or professional staff to the villa itself which was lovely. And, I want to mention what a top area we stayed in - could get anywhere quickly and the manager would arrange transport which would arrive within minutes.
