Toraja Villa is a 4-bedroom Canggu holiday villa rental & that takes design elements from the traditional architecture of Toraja. Its high-pitched roof is an engineering marvel, creating spacious open-air living spaces & providing guests with exceptional views of the surrounding rice terraces. Plus, it’s close to the popular Batu Bolong area – how ideal!

Outdoor & Pool Areas

The main feature of the outdoor area is the large circular infinity pool; from here, you can cool down in the sparkling waters resting on its infinity edge as you admire the fabulous views. The garden surroundings will set the perfect holiday mood as you relax on the sun recliners and soak up the sun. There’s a generous lawn area in front of the pool, ideal for the kids to run and play games together.

Living Areas

The main living area is one level up from the pool; this semi-open-air space has plush sofas and sunbrella sales shade out the sun, there’s a flat-screen TV here, and ceiling fans keep you cool. The dining table comfortably seats up to 10 guests, and you can enjoy meals prepared by the in-house chef; the staff will also do the grocery shopping for you. Your personal butler will whip up pre-dinner drinks for you at the well-equipped bar, and if you are into wine, you love the villa’s private cellar.

4 Spacious bedrooms with air-con

There are two bedrooms off the lower pool deck, one with a king-size bed and the second with twin beds. Both en-suites are beautifully appointed with rain showers and large free-standing stone soaking tubs. The two upstairs rooms feature king-size beds and provide fabulous views and soaking tubs in the en-suites; all rooms have AC and flat-screen TVs.

Staff & Services

The villa is staffed by a manager who oversees the daily services provided by the housekeepers, chefs, butlers, gardeners and security. The manager can also arrange transport, babysitters, in-house massages and spa services as well.

Around Toraja Villa, Canggu (near Motel Mexicola, Old Man’s & beach)

The villa allows guests to spend time at two fabulous beaches, Echo and Batu Bolong Beaches are a hive of activity, offering great surf, plenty of beachside cafes and great restaurants; it’s all right here on your doorstep.

If you love your coffee, you are in luck as there are some great cafes in the popular Batu Bolong area ( about 10 min away ) where you can also grab a bite to eat with the family. Make sure you visit the popular Crate, Deus ex Machina, I am Vegan Babe, Sensorium, Copenhagen, Bali Buda and the family-friendly Milk and Madu..

Travelling with kids? Take them to the Finns Recreation Club in Berawa, where there are huge waterslides, ten-pin bowling & an in-door trampoline centre called Bounce. They might also like a surf lesson at Old Man’s Beach, where you can hire boards and an instructor by the hour. Follow this up with dinner at Luigis Hot Pizza or BB5s, where they have great burgers or perhaps Shady Shack for salads and smoothies.

If you want to do some yoga, then The Practice and Samadi Yoga are close by that have daily yoga classes. For gym junkies, Canggu has lots of gyms for daily workouts where they have weekly passes. Head to Bali MMA, Bull Gym, SOMA, Nirvana Strength or The Wrong Gym.

For the ladies, there are some upmarket day spas nearby where you can get your hair and nails done and one of those dreamy Balinese massages. For the best treatments, visit AMO, Goldust Beauty Lounge and the popular Spring Day Spa on Jalan Batu Bolong. Spend the afternoon shopping at Love Anchor Markets in Canggu or head to Seminyak’s Oberoi area (about 30 min away), where there are art galleries, jewellery and homewares stores and the huge Seminyak Flea Market where you can buy souvenirs.

For a real treat, make sure you go to Old Man’s or The Lawn for sunset cocktails and some dinner. Everyone comes here, and the atmosphere is amazing as the sun goes down. Grab a taxi to the new mega beach club Cafe Del Mar in Batu Belig, rent your own private day bed or cabana, and enjoy fine dining, drinks, chilled music, and sensational beach views. There’s also Finns or Atlas Beach Fest in Berawa, which are both very popular and a short taxi ride away.
