The villa is ideally located just a short walk from the central hub of Canggu at Deus Ex Machina Café and just a 2 min scooter ride from Echo and Batu Bolong Beaches. It’s the ideal location if you’re looking forward to doing some holiday surfing or just spending quality time with friends and family on the beach.
There are some fantastic cafes and restaurants all close by in the Batu Bolong and Linjong areas, which are really easy to get to. Make sure you try; Mason, the popular Shady Shack ( for great vegan food & only 300 metres walk ), Copenhagen, Bali Buda, Butterman & BAKED in Berawa and the hipster hang Crate Cafe to name a few.
Travelling with kids? Take them to The Finns Recreation Club where there are waterslides, ten pin bowling and a massive indoor trampoline centre. They’ll also like a surf lesson at Old Man’s beach where you can hire boards & instructors by the hour. For a fun day out with the family, go to the popular Monkey Forest Temple in Ubud or sunset photos at the holy Hindu Tanah Lot Temple on the water. For dinner, there’s yummy food at Wahaha ribs, fish n chips at Fishbone or burgers at Pit Stop. For dessert, try Al Bacio or Gaya gelato.
As the sun begins to set, it’s time to head to The Lawn or Old Mans, right on the beachfront for sunset cocktails or a few cold Bintang’s. This is where everyone goes to watch the best sunset in Bali. Other beach clubs nearby worth visiting include La Brisa on Echo Beach, Finns VIP Club & Holywings at Berawa, and Cafe Del Mar on Batu Belig Beach.
For the ladies, there are loads of upmarket day spas nearby where you can get your hair and nails done, plus have one of those dreamy Balinese massages. Some of the best nearby include Golddust Beauty Lounge, MYNX, Therapy and the very popular Spring Day Spa on Jalan Batu Bolong. Follow this up by browsing the shops and boutiques in the Canggu area but for more shopping options the chic Oberoi area in Seminyak is a 30 min taxi ride away.
For yoga enthusiasts, there are three great studios all close by that have daily yoga classes catering for all levels: The Practice, Serenity, and Samadi, which are all amazing!! You can also keep up your daily workouts at the local 45 Studio along Jalan Batu Bolong.

This was the first time we had decided to stay in Canggu as we would normally stay in Seminyak. We are so delighted we made this choice, it was such a refreshing experience to see and do new things. The kids loved the Finns Recreation Centre most of all but we just loved the Finns Beach Club.
The staff were so helpful and unobtrusive, nothing was ever a problem and Villa Nonnavana; well the pictures say it all, it was divine!!

Modern luxe villa with private pool and great location!
Villa Nonnavana is a really gorgeous property! The interiors were contemporary and luxe. Each bedroom has its own ensuite bathrooms - making it all seem like a master bedroom! We were a group of 8 and the villa more than comfortably fit all of us. The pool and yard was also great for staying in and relaxing! The hammock by the pool deck was also a nice touch! Location is also central and was really close to cafes, restaurants and boutiques. This made it easy for us to get around the area. We also had the host arrange a private day tour for us at a good price!

WE LOVE VILLA NONNAVANA!!!
Location is amazing - close to Echo beach which was great for those afternoon surf sessions and close to Batu Bolong which had so many great places to take the kids for a meal at night..... so glad we stayed here.
