When entering the compound, you will pass the traditional ‘Aling Aling’ wall, meant to keep bad spirits away and behind it lies a little paradise-like garden with a private swimming pool just for you to enjoy.

True to its name, Villa Anjali Orange follows a warm, earthy orange colour scheme throughout the design of the property. The large open-concept living space features a marble floor, a high-pitched traditional rooftop, handmade teak furniture and carefully selected tribal artefacts. The living room splits up into a dining area and a lounge area. In the middle of this lofty living space, you can access the swimming pool directly, and the villa also features an in-house garden area, embracing the tropical lifestyle that we all adore so much. The kitchen sits in the corner on the right, and it features a microwave, stove, water boiler, toaster, a large fridge with a separate freezer, and all the glassware and cutlery needed. The suede sofa and leather stools make up a stylish lounge area for reading magazines, enjoying the garden view, or watching your favourite series on the flat-screen TV. In the mood for cocktails? Head up to the terrace on the second floor and say cheers to the good life.

Large peaceful garden

The spacious tropical garden is very private with high bamboo garden walls and lush tropical plants and trees growing all around the private swimming pool that sparkles in the heart of the garden. Rattan sunbeds are placed by the side of the pool for tanning under clear blue skies and there is a large gazebo for those who prefer to chill out in the shade. Take a daytime snooze or enjoy an in-villa massage, life is wonderful here in the garden of Villa Anjali Orange.

3 Modern bedrooms

Villa Anjali Orange is a 3-bedroom villa and all rooms feature warm earthy colour schemes and each room is fully air-conditioned. The master bedroom is found on the ground level designed with floor-to-ceiling glass doors opening up to the garden and pool. The room features a queen-size double bed, a TV, wardrobe closets and a luxurious en-suite bathroom with indoor and outdoor showers. Above the bedroom on the second floor, you will find the second bedroom adjoined to the upper lounge terrace and the third bedroom is located on ground level on the other side of the living room. Both these rooms are fitted with double beds, TVs and wardrobe areas and each has a private tropically-styled en-suite bathroom with driftwood chairs and overhead rain showers.

The location is quiet and when sunbathing and swimming in your private garden, you would never expect the buzzing Petitenget Strip, the beach and  Batu Belig are just meters away from your doorstep.

A short stroll will take you to Potato Head Beach Club or W Bar (for sunset cocktails) and famous nearby restaurants include, Biku, Sarong, Bambu, Ling Lings and Jemme. Plus if you love your coffee there are loads of amazing cafes nearby where you can get your daily coffee fix & take the kids for a bite to eat. Make sure you go to Kynd Community ( they make great vegan meals), Pison, Monsieur Spoon ( they have great croissants & pastries) and Livingstones.

Travelling with kids? Take them to the Finns Recreation Club ( 1.6 km away ) where there are waterslides, ten pin bowling and a massive indoor trampoline centre. You can also take them for a surf lesson at Seminyak Beach ( 1.5 km away ) where you can hire boards and instructors by the hour. For a fun day out with the family head to the popular Monkey Forest Temple in Ubud or sunset photos at Tanah Lot Temple. For dinner, there are the best ribs at Wild Hog or burgers at Grill’d & BossMan opposite Seminyak Village. Take them to Candylicious for treats or yummy gelato at Gusto in Kerobokan.

For the ladies, there are lots of upmarket day spas close by where you can get your hair and nails done, plus have one of those fabulous Balinese massages. Head to Rob Peetoom or Sundari Day Spa in Petitenget, Spring Day Spa and the popular Think Pink Nails in Batu Belig. Follow this up with an afternoon browsing the art galleries, homewares & jewellery stores in the chic Oberoi area. For more shopping options, you can head into Legian, where you can bargain with locals for souvenirs, or make your way to Love Anchor Market in Canggu’s main Batu Bolong area.
