Villa Greco is in an excellent location in Berawa, close to the beach and the area’s hotspots. You can walk to the beach, take a short scooter ride to shops and restaurants, or venture into the heart of Canggu to join in the best parties, cafe scene, shops and more.

Are you travelling with kids? Take them to the Finns Recreation Club, which offers waterslides, ten-pin bowling, tennis and an indoor trampoline centre. There’s also Waterbom Park in Kuta for a fun day out. For a treat, take them to Old Man’s Beach for a surf lesson where they can hire boards and instructors by the hour. For dinner, there’s Indonesian at Warung Made, ribs at Wild Hog, burgers at BB52 or pizza at Luigi’s Hot Pizza. Al Bacio or Gaya has delish gelato or Funky Pancakes at Linjong to spoil them for dessert. Culturally, spend the day at the Monkey Forst in Ubud or sunset photos at Tanah Lot Temple.

You can also head into Seminyak near KU DE TA, Potato Head or La Plancha at Double Six Beach.

Shopping. Canggu’s famous Batu Bolong area and Pantai Berawa have many shopping options to buy homewares, jewellery, clothes and surf gear. Make sure you also visit Love Anchor markets to buy souvenirs or Canggu Central at Echo Beach, where there are many souvenir vendors. There are lots of small local markets in Canggu on the weekend. Go to Seminyak’s Eat Street or the massive Beachwalk in Kuta for even more shopping.

Cafes & restaurants. Canggu has many fabulous places to grab a coffee and a bite to eat. Some of the best include Milk and Madu (family-friendly), Butterman (pastries, coffee & croissants), Monsieur Spoon, 7 AM Bakers Club, the popular Bottega (great pasta), Bokashi, Revolver (for the best coffee and great vibes), BAKED, Neighbourhood, Deus ex Machina, the famous Crate, Hungry Bird and Secret Spot.

Yoga and gyms. Canggu is gym central, where you can burn off those holiday calories. Some of the most popular gyms near the villa where you can get weekly passes are Bulls Gym, Nirvana Strength, Wunderlust, SOMA and Avenue Fitness. For some stretching at yoga, go to The Practice, Pranava Yoga or the very popular Samadi.

Want to party? Start the night off at La Brisa, Finns or Atlas Beach Fest for pre-dinner drinks, and then it’s off to the new Motel Mexicola along Jalan Batu Bolong for tacos, tequila and lots of fun. Continue the party at SandBar Mejan or Mason’s Backroom, where you can party till late.
